A large ~1.36GB PTS Update hit on 10th September 2014 that added a working version of the Minions UI, Earrings Slots on the Rift Store and some new achievements. You can find out more details on in-game additions to the PTS here.
Below you can find information on the fair few datamined files that came with this update:
Summary:

As always, everything below is subject to change prior to hitting Live and some things included below may never make it to Live release.
First up, there’s a ton of minimap files that may indicate a more polished or updated version of the Nightmare Tide zones as well as a lot of Draumheim architecture models that seem to have been given a cyan color overlay in certain sections. The majority of the large file size is probably related to another round of polish for the zones.

What looks to be the Mount Sharax raid map has been datamined. It shows several areas that are clearly boss encounter areas along the winding path ascending towards the peak of the mountain. The top area would be the platforms previously datamined.
Models and Skins
A whole bunch of models and skins in this latest update.
Glacial Shield + Bow

Skins of what looks to be Glacial shields for warriors and clerics as well as perhaps part of a Glacial Bow (bottom skin).
Mermaid and Other NPC Skins
Mermaid or Other Skins
A collection of skins that looks to be for mermaids or other similar NPCs. Possibly some Dream Guard armor mixed in there.
Tribulation Posters
Nightmare Tide Tribulation Posters
Two Tribulation posters. The Tribulation Soldiers would be those nightmare versions of the Dream Guard/Onir People. The writing probably reads something along the lines of “The Akvan Watches You! Be Enthralled Today!”
Doopah Pet Skin

As guessed, the ‘Doopah’ is the Tartagon. Here’s what is likely the skin of a ‘Doopah’ companion pet, with a rather fancy saddle or rug in the top-right hand corner.
Ice Dragon
Ice Dragon
Two skins and a rig for a ‘dragon_ice_colossus’. This dragon uses Maelforge’s skeleton/rig and may be related to the Maelforge ‘perch’ that was shown to be a part of Tarken Glacier. Either this is a frozen Maelforge or an entirely new creature that is part of the Tarken Glacier zone.
Onir Urn Skins
Not too exciting. Just a bunch of Onir Urns.
More RIFT 3.0 Flags
More RIFT 3.0 Flags
More flags that you will see in RIFT 3.0. The top few might be Tribulation banners whilst the bottom-left looks to be an Akvan banner. Unknown what the bottom-right flag pertains to although it could be a Sharax or Ghar banner.
Onir Cart Model

An Onir Cart model. The orb in the middle might be a storage container of dreams, an egg, or something completely different. Go-Cart racing?
Glacial Maw Heart Model
Glacial Maw Heart Model
The heart model seen in Empyrean Core and at Greenscale’s Crater in The Dendrome. This time it’s for Glacial Maw, a dungeon in the Tarken Glacier zone. Glacial Maw is within the Akvan, Izbithu, so it is likely the still-beating heart of Izbithu.
Chances are the reason for going into the Glacial Maw dungeon is to prevent creatures from defrosting/reviving Izbithu.
More Diving Helms
Two more Diving Helms
Two more Diving Helm skins. These are either costume pieces for players and/or meant for the Ghar people which Trion have stated wear these helms at all times whilst working and living in the Plane of Water.
Nightmare Port Scions

Here’s a map datamined for what is assumed to be the ‘nightmare’ Port Scions that MikeD stated in the recent 5th Sept Livestream existed in Draumheim. MikeD mentioned during the livestream that Lord Arak had created multiple nightmarish versions of Port Scion that have been corrupted by the death of Regulos and that in-game you will fight multiple Reguli.
Looking at the image above and in the context of this new piece of lore, it’s obvious now that the 3 platforms in the center are Regulos’ ‘toilet bowls’ in Endless Eclipse, all connected together by bridges. So looks like you’ll be fighting 3 Reguli at some point in the expansion.
The map makes it seem as though you won’t actually enter the 4 Port Scions, but instead work your way from the bottom-left area in the middle platforms and onto the three toilet bowls.

Mentoring Up
Mentoring Up UI
Not all the shocking, the Mentoring Up UI that is being introduced with the Nightmare Tide Expansion has arrows going outwards instead of the Mentoring Down’s inward arrows. Look forward to players above Level 10 being able to mentor up and participate in content with higher-levels.
Look forward to Mentoring Up in 3.0 – no longer will your Level 23 and 45 guildies feel all alone amongst the plethora of Level 60s (or in this case, Level65s).
Datamined Icons
Bonanza of Datamined Icons
This latest update pushed out a real bonanza of icons.
- A lot of the first two rows seem to be either Nightmare Rift-related objective/node/powerup abilities and reactives or perhaps Warrior’s Reaver Tank-to-DPS overhaul ability icons.
- The top-right look like quest reactives, especially since the purple totem is an Akvan totem.
- The middle rows seems to have a whole heap of essences and/or upgrade components. These look like the upgrade components you see in Storm Legion, except green and with eyes.
- The second-last row has the Abyssal Crab Combat Pet Skin Icons.
- The second-last and last rows contain a ton of what are likely different ranks of Nightmare Rift Lures or essences.
Datamined Custom Portraits
Datamined Portraits
We saw icons for two of these in the previous datamine. Now there’s even more! Note that some of these came ‘stretched’ so they’ll most likely be round once in-game.
- 1st one has angle wings and a blue and yellow frame.
- Second one actually extends the wings all the way to the left – a rather interesting design because it might be cut off for many players who position their portrait to the left of their screen. Has a halo. Would be nice if this was a Patron Portrait (since Patron’s also get that halo vfx ability).
- The third portrait is the Nightmare Portrait that you get with a purchase of the Infusion or Ultimate Nightmare Digital Editions of Nightmare Tide. [r] Some of the eyes move.
- The fourth portrait is clearly a Minions-themed Portrait with that skull being the centre-piece of a blank Adventure Card.
- The fifth portrait looks to take on a Dream Guard/Onir people theme.
Icons galore with this latest PTS update. Some Glacial Shields, Mount Sharax map and new portraits to keep an eye out for. Can’t wait to journey to three of Regulos’ toilet bowls!
