RIFT news tidbits for 27-28th March 2015.
General
- Livestream Summary for 27th March 2015. Latest Trion Livestream provides full overview of the upcoming 3.2 Wardrobe System. Also showed off some of the Tier 2 Hammerknell Fortress Raid and other tidbits like new bag search commands, visible Elo Rating for PvP and mounts sorted by speed. Full info and screenshots here.
- Notice: Planned Downtime. Trion’s platforms will go down for approx 1hr at 4AM PDT on 31st March 2015. This includes RIFT, Trove, Defiance and ArcheAge. [r]
- Dimension Info
- Books. The interactable books will be Meridian/Sanctum books for now. Artifact-gained books might appear in the future, depending on demand for the new books. [r]
- Krug also mentioned that it’s not as easy as copy-paste to turn an existing item in-game into a dimension item. Not difficult, but time-consuming. [r]
- Attractor Minions Info. Snedhepl has stated that the attractor minion tooltip will be updated in the next hotfix so that it better explains that: [r]
- Archaeologist Herim attracts 1 adventure per deck at Levels 1-9;
- Archaeologist Herim attracts 2 adventures per deck at Level 10-25; and
- Jineth only attracts 1 adventure per deck.
- However, you can have the two cards ‘work together’ so you unlock 3 additional artifact adventures per deck.
- Minion Achievement Info. Snedhepl has stated that the no.-of-minions-collected achievement seems to stop counting at 140, even though there’s a lot more minions than that. [r]
- Razing Sanctum/Meridian. CaptainCursor has stated that if Trion adds content (perhaps a sliver) where Sanctum has been destroyed, they will also do so for Meridian. [r]

Are they gonna convert all our raid marks currency into abyssal? you know just like what they did when they released tier 2 where they convert of our FES to ESM..are the tier 1 weapons from RIFTstore be avail for credits and fragment of horror? ty in advance
I’m not sure on the raid marks. The recent livestream showed iHK bosses dropping Fragments of Madness (a new Tier 2 raid currency), but there’s been no word from Trion or the PTS on whether or not they’ll combine Fragments of Horror (T1) and Abyssal Crusader’s marks.
As for Tier 1 weapons – there’s also been no word on if or when those will appear on the RIFT Store. Tier 1 armor will likely become purchasable with Credits at some point after Tier 2 arrives though since it is no longer the BiS for RIFT Store.
