Preparing for Patch 2.6

Patch 2.6 is just around the corner, releasing on the 12th February 2014. There’s quite a few content and feature additions to this patch that will be rolled out over the coming weeks.

Here’s a few things you may wish to consider in preparing for Patch 2.6:

• Hold off Tier 1 Raids until after the patch due to new raid weeklies. (applies if you raid right after weekly reset and before the patch).
• Stock up on artifacts and Dream Weaving leveling mats for Dream Weaving and Dream Orbs. [Guide: Dream Weaving]
• Have enough Credits ready for a Trade Skill Extension slot if you are going that route for Dream Weaving.
• Stock up on planarite and Infinity Stones to purchase the new fire Raid Rifts that drop new upgradeable essences.
• Stock up on Coruscating Ethereal Shards used in Dream Orbs as well as to upgrade Crafted Relic Capes (‘Luminous’) and the new Raid Rift essences.
• Become Decorated notoriety with the Icewatch (Iron Pine Peak notoriety) as it is a requirement to begin one of the Air Saga World Event arcs.
• Make sure you have all porticulums in Iron Pine Peak, Gloamwood, Stonefield, Droughtlands, Ember Isle, Morban and Seratos unlocked in preparation for the Air Saga World Event.
• Make some space in your inventory. Don’t want to pick up a valuable Unstable Artifact or Bounty Artifact and end up not having room in your bags.

Note: Not everything will be released at once. Some of the above additions to Patch 2.6 may be releasing at a later date.
