The fifth and final arc begins with General Batua at (13373, 11561) outside the Haunted Terminal in Tempest Bay. The quests are Level 60. You need to complete ‘Arc 4: An Approaching Inferno‘ in order to start this quest.

Completing the final quest “The Infinite Empire” gives you the achievement “Such Sweet Sorrow” and reward you with the title: “Infinite”.

Quest 1: Duplicitous Extraction

Speak with General Batua at (13373, 11561) outside the Haunted Terminal in Tempest Bay to start this quest. You need to complete ‘Arc 4: An Approaching Inferno‘ in order to start this quest.

The Dream Extractors and Reliquaries are located in the three general areas in the middle of Morban. [Location].

Each Dream Reliquary is a Water Foothold surrounded by 3 Air footholds and 3 mobs. Destroy the Air Footholds (Dream Extractors) before taking down the Dream Reliquaries as the Dream Extractors heal them to full.

You can easily tell when a Dream Reliquary is nearby because you’ll hear a robotic sound indicating you’re near one of the mobs guarding the Reliquary.

They are mainly found on the side of hills in the areas marked on the map.

– Return to General Batua in Tempest Bay

Return to General Batua at (13373, 11561) outside the Haunted Terminal in Tempest Bay to complete this quest.

Reward

Reward: 103,194 XP and 86g 76s. [This reward seems rather low. Will update if it has changed since PTS].

Quest 2: The Infinite Empire

Speak with General Batua at (13373, 11561) outside the Haunted Terminal in Tempest Bay to start this quest.

Objectives

– Go to the Infinity Gate
– Use the Empyreal Cannon to defeat Crucia’s Soldiers.
– Confront Crucia.
– Kill the Storm Legion Centurions.
– Destroy the Dream Foci.
– Chase Crucia
– Use Soul Interference to disrupt Crucia
– Return to General Batua in Tempest Bay

Walkthrough

– Go to the Infinity Gate

Go to the Infinity Gate in Steppes of Infinity at (17062, 7568) and enter the portal there called “The Sting of Betrayal”.

– Use the Empyreal Cannon to defeat Crucia’s Soldiers.

Click on the Empyreal Cannon to take control of it. Button 1 is the Pulse Dispersal ability and Button 2 is the Exit Cannon ability.

Simply spam 1 whilst aiming at the soldiers to kill them.

– Confront Crucia.

When you’ve killed all the soldiers, you’ll be kicked out of the Empyreal Cannon. Approach Crucia and she will begin to roleplay.

– Kill the Storm Legion Centurions.
– Destroy the Dream Foci.

Once Crucia starts channeling the Dream Foci (water motes) at the Infinity Gate, the roleplay is over and you can start killing the mechs (Storm Legion Centurions) and the Dream Foci (the water motes).

Be aware that when you destroy a Storm Legion Centurion, 4 adds will spawn around the associated Dream Foci. Thus, make sure you aren’t too close to the Dream Foci when you kill a Storm Legion Centurion if you are struggling.

– Chase Crucia

Follow Crucia up the stairs to the Infinity Gate.

– Use Soul Interference to disrupt Crucia

Stand in the red glow and use Soul Interference reactive you receive.

– Return to General Batua in Tempest Bay

Return to General Batua at (13373, 11561) outside the Haunted Terminal in Tempest Bay to complete this quest.

Reward

1Hander weapon (+40 HIT, can upgrade to +53 HIT; very costly upgrade though), Popsicle Companion Pet, Eternal Crystallized Insight, 154,791XP and 1p 4g 11s. 1500 Icewatch + 800 Empyreal Alliance Notoriety.

End of Air Saga – Arc 5: The Infinite Empire

Completing the final quest “The Infinite Empire” concludes ‘Arc 5: The Infinite Empire’ of the Air Saga and gives you the achievement “Such Sweet Sorrow” which rewards you with the title: “Infinite”.
