Justicar changes up on PTS + more

News Tidbits:

Justicar Changes

The Justicar changes mentioned here are up on the PTS for testing. As taken from Kervik:

  • Mien of Leadership no longer causes overhealing to generate threat.
  • Healing from Salvation no longer generates threat.
  • Even Justice and Hammer of Faith now hit up to 10 enemies.
  • Hammer of Faith now deals its damage instantly and no longer has a travel time or bounces between enemies.
  • Light of Creation now increases damage done with Strike of Judgment, Reckoning, Bolt of Radiance, and Doctrine of Authority by 15/30/45%.
  • Increased damage of Reckoning and Precept of Refuge.
  • Mien of Leadership now increases threat by 400%. Up from 350%.
  • Increased the threat multiplier of Hammer of Duty and Hammer of Faith to 3. Up from 2.
  • Confidence now grants a Conviction every 6/3s.
  • Doctrine of Bliss and Doctrine of Loyalty now consume up to 4 Convictions when cast. Healing is increased for each Conviction consumed.
  • Light Makes Right now causes casting Hammer of Duty or Hammer of Faith to apply a buff to you, increasing your Life damage by 2% for each Conviction consumed by the Hammer. Lasts 15s.
  • Righteous Mandate is no longer affected by the global cooldown.
  • Reduced the threat multiplier on Reprieve from 2 to 1.
  • Mien of Honor now reduces threat generation by 50%. Increases damage and healing done by 5%. Causes casting Hammer of Duty or Hammer of Faith to apply a buff to the Cleric for 15s, increasing their damage by 2% for each Conviction consumed by the Hammer. This buff stacks with the one from Light Makes Right.
  • Multi-Conviction consumption for Doctrine of Bliss and Doctrine of Loyalty is now on the Divine Right talent.
    • When already at full health, your Doctrine of Bliss and Doctrine of Loyalty absorb damage equal to 33/66/100% of their normal healing value instead of healing you.
    • Causes Doctrine of Bliss and Doctrine of Loyalty to consume up to 1/2/3 additional Conviction on cast, increasing the healing by 100% for each additional Conviction.

Physician Changes

Physician changes should be making its way to PTS either today or next week.

Liberator Changes
First off, thanks everyone for the great feedback. It’s been really nice to see a lot of you on PTS and to chat with you live.

So, here are the first round of changes that I just submitted for the Physician. You should see them when PTS is updated next week.

  • Repurposed Residual Care to function like Enraptured Breath. More changes incoming to differentiate it from Enrapture Breath.
  • Fixed Causal misspellings on the Physician synergy crystals.
  • Preemptive Therapy should trigger Physician synergy crystal bonuses now.
  • Mass Blood Transfusion: Reduced healing by 50%, reduced damage by 33%. The damage nerf might get reverted based on further feedback.
  • Biofeedback: Fixed issue that was causing the healing to be lower when not targeting yourself. Also removed the raid/party restriction. Removed energy regen reduction.
  • Physician & Liberator non-finisher absorbs: Now have proper values for absorb amount, power stat coefficient, and weapon multiplier.

Liberator changes should be making its way to PTS either today or next week.

Physician Changes
Thanks to everyone for the feedback so far both here in the thread and in-game. It’s been really nice talking to some of you on PTS and getting your feedback there.

Here are the first round of changes coming for Liberator when PTS is updated next week:

  • Fixed the description of Medical Facility to have a “s” after the duration.
  • Dichotomy of Pain: Changed to a 30m ranged AoE on the damage portion. Heal portion remains a PBAoE.
  • Deliverance: Reduced healing by 33%. Added 2s cast time (this may be lowered in the future through talents or other abilities).
  • Group Assistance: Lowered healing by 20%
  • Physician & Liberator non-finisher absorbs: Now have proper values for absorb amount, power stat coefficient, and weapon multiplier.

Possible Arresting Presence Changes

Kervik responded to a thread about Arresting Presence being too powerful as a debilitate (silence + disarm).

Hey all,

Yes there is a nerf coming to Arresting Presence. For now it is changing to be a targeted AOE debilitate with a 5s duration and a 30s cooldown. It has a 10m radius and can affect up to 10 targets. Further changes may still happen before it goes live, but I’m wanting to leave it as a debilitate of some form rather than changing it to a different type of debuff.

Macro UI Changes

Gingers has mentioned that there will be Macro UI changes coming for Patch 2.7. (not 100% guaranteed though, subject to priorities).

    Slight error in linking the changes, you listed the Physician changes under Liberator and the liberator changes under Physician.

      Thanks Thomas 😀 Changing it now. I first had them mixed up for the summary at the top of the article so changed it there – can’t believe I mixed them up in the quote links later >_<.
