Actually got world 2nd, killing Akylios a good 10 hours before Vendetta. topofrift.com is quite misleading as it is showing EU and NA server times next to each other without indication, while the same kill time for EU is 8 hours earlier (and with an additional 24h hours less time to progress due to the patch being deployed on Thursday 😦 ).
