A few news tidbits for May 31st 2014. Dimension crashes are noted and a fix is being looked into. Rogue Physicians will also get a fix for Viral Infection and Emergency Response’s effectiveness in PvP will be reduced to 75%, multiplicative with the existing global healing reduction in PvP. + other stuff!

Daglar has updated us with a post on the Rift Forums indicating that the Last Name Scroll price is actually 450 Credits (405 for Patrons). The large price originally on the Public Test Shard was a placeholder thanks to the item being a duplicate of another item.

Trion Worlds has posted a “RIFT Behind the Scenes: Underlord of Lore Captain Cursor” Article going over Captain Cursor’s role in RIFT and what it is like writing for a game and shaping the world of Telara.

Part of the latest Public Test Shard (“PTS”) update has introduced the “Last Name Scroll” for 3,200 Credits (2,880 for Patrons). If any of you have wanted a last name, or had a first name taken by someone else on your shard and want it back; the Last Name Scroll should help out with that!

Port Scion is the region locked in-between Silverwood and Freemarch, once the capital of both Guardians and Defiants before Alsbeth’s betrayal resulting in the city and port being overrun by Regulos’ forces. Dev Tacitus has revealed what Port Scion looked like back in 2009 during RIFT’s development.

Further class changes have been announced in regards to Mage Stormcallers and Rogue Tacticians, Riftstalkers and Physicians. The Mage changes will be up on PTS in the next PTS update whilst the Rogue changes will be up on Live in next week’s hotfix.

The EU shards were updated with RIFT 2.7 Hotfix #5 and Hotfix #6 today. Some of you may be seeing the game crash every now and then. A fix has been found for the crash, but CM Morgana has mentioned it will take several hours to be added to Live.

Trion is updating RIFT with RIFT 2.7 Hotfix #6 as at 7:30AM PDT on 29th May 2014 (NA) and 1AM GMT on 29th May 2014 (EU). EU is getting Hotfix #5 and #6 at the same time. Mainly involves PBB & BoB: Maelforge changes/fixes + Mage Tank Gear fixes.

So you have an excess of Master Craftman’s and Artisan Marks. Perhaps you just enjoy turning in crafting dailies/weeklies for notoriety and exp – or maybe you’re turning in gathering ‘byproduct’ items to Oorlon at K’Rom’s Fortress in Ashora. What do you use these marks on on – you have all the recipes you want, right? Give Grandmaster Supply Crates a shot!
