RIFT 2.7 Hotfix #11

Trion is updating RIFT with RIFT 2.7 Hotfix #11 at 7:00AM PDT on 25th June 2014 (NA) and 1AM GMT on 26th June 2014 (EU).


  • Old Currency converted to Platinum! – All old currencies (Marks of Ascension, Greater Marks of Ascensions, Infernal Marks of Ascensions and Plaques of Achievement) have been converted to platinum at a 1000:1 ratio. The old currency are the Level 50 Expert and Raid currency. So if you have 1,000 Marks of Ascension it will be converted to 1 platinum.
  • Can no longer enter Conquest via Dimensions. Exit the dimension first prior to entering.
  • Transcendent (“Red”) gear can now be runebroken. [This will mainly pertain to Tier 3 Transcendent Trinkets].
  • Bindings of Blood: Laethys changes/fixes/nerfs.


RIFT 2.7 Hot Fix #11 – 06/25/14

* All old world currencies have been converted into platinum at a 1000-1 ratio. This includes Infernal Marks of Ascension, Greater Marks of Ascension, Marks of Ascension, and Plaques of Achievement.
* Announcer voice overs now work!
* After a faction change, all faction-specific achievements will now properly add to your score in the guild roster window.
* You will no longer be invited to enter conquest while you are in a dimension. Please leave the dimension first before attempting to enter.
* Transcendent (“red”) gear can now be runebroken.
* Fix an uncommon graphics-related crash.

* A new field in rift.cfg has been added. “LogConsole”, under the “Client” field. When manually set to true, your regular /log command will stay enabled after you close your client instead of turning off.


* Surviving the binding ceremony once will enable players to skip the ceremony until the next instance reset.
* Increased the range at which players can hit Laethys and the Greed Hulks by two meters.
* Added an additional failsafe to ensure gold piles spawn before Laethic Gold is cast.
* Increased the cooldown of Chemical Reaction to 15 seconds.
* Slight adjustment to the collision of the gold piles.
