The Nightmare Coast Dungeon on PTS!

The Nightmare Coast Feature Image

The Nightmare Coast Dungeon (prelude dungeon to RIFT 3.0: Nightmare Tide) that is coming in RIFT 2.8: Madness Wakes is now up on the Public Test Shard for testing!

Just like the Exodus of the Storm Queen dungeon which acted as a prelude to RIFT 2.0: Storm Legion, The Nightmare Coast will be available in RIFT 2.8 and is aimed slightly harder than your average Level 60 Expert Dungeon.

The entrance portal to the new dungeon is found in Shimmersand just south of Fortune’s Shore at (6544, 7354).

Nightmare Coast Dungeon Entrance

  • You can learn how to access the Public Test Shard and get little geared up for the dungeon here.
  • The dungeon is in its initial stages so there will be quite a few bugs and placeholder art.
  • Please provide all feedback either in-game or in the Feedback Thread created by DEV_Anony here.

Also, check this beaut out; Infinity Gate in Shimmersand, and it seems to be part of the storyline for The Nightmare Coast (4th image):

REALLY good idea for a ‘redo dungeon’ area. I don’t think anyone would have expected the Infinity Gate in bloody Shimmersand.

I’m wondering if they might even permanently change the landscape of Shimmersand to be filled with water; or at least in the Flatyard and surrounding areas – or if it is only reserved for the dungeon itself. The Infinity Gate is up above the Flatyard in the open world Shimmersand as well as the dungeon.
