SUMMERFEST IS BACK!
* To start your summer adventure, head to any one of the capital cities!
* Collect Ravensong, the new mount, by gaining Summer Loyalty!
* Tons of pets are available from the Summerfest Party Basket!
* Scavenger Hunt quests are in every zone of Mathosia, Brevane, and Dusken.
* Get dressed for the weather– swimwear is back in the RIFT Store, with a few new pieces to boot.

GENERAL
* Fixed a rare server crash.
ZONES AND QUESTS
* Water Saga: Insanity Intelligence: Thoonaq, Demigod of Taboo Thoughts, will now despawn if not in combat. (Thanks to forum member Walrin!)
* Zone Event: Aggressive Colonization: The Broodqueen should no longer spawn level 50 children.
CAPE JULE
* Pyronite Monstrosity should respawn more consistently.
DUNGEONS AND INSTANCES
BINDINGS OF BLOOD: GREENSCALE
* Corrected an issue with the Bindings of Blood: Greenscale leaderboards that was causing invalid scores of 0 to display in the top 50 spots.
BINDINGS OF BLOOD: LAETHYS
* Fixed an issue that could cause players who are soul walking to not receive achievements.
* Achievements for the Ceremony are now given upon completion of the Ceremony.
BINDINGS OF BLOOD: MAELFORGE
* Corrected a bug that was preventing Asias’s Dark Cabal from impacting the Oracle ability Defender of the Fallen.
* Updated the AI driving Tyrant’s Fire to correct a duplicate target scenario.
* Players in melee range will now have slightly longer to react to being targeted by Tyrant’s Fire.
* Fixed an issue that was causing Chlorine Tripyruoride to hit for 10x more than intended.
* Adjusted the implementation of Extreme Radiation so that it doess more consistent damage.
* Corrected a bug where NPC heroes would follow players over the edge and become lost until Maelforge’s aggro reset.
* Fixed the silence caused by Implosion to be Physical instead of Disease (which was eating cleanse).
* Halved the tick rate of Cinder Storm (it was applying much too frequently).
* Increased the range that Lava Tether would resolve at, making the removal process more reliable.
RETURN TO DEEPSTRIKE
* The invasive denizens of Deepstrike have revised their defensive strategy and adjusted the teleporters accordingly. Players will no longer be able to instantly teleport to the final boss of the dungeon from the entrance.
PVP AND WARFRONTS
* Summon Friend can no longer be used in Warfronts.
ITEMS
* Removed the range requirement for Verdant Archbow proc.
* Looting money off of corpses in warfronts will no longer be operating in the bizarre new round-robin behavior.
* The attack and spell power buffs that proc from weapons in the Bindings of Blood will not be able to stack.
* The following achievement trickets now must be equipped to use.

– Hand Cannon
* Fixed a typo in Fragments of The Ward endurance.

Does anyone know if you can get the shamble stick from the summer event?
It should – it was available last year and I think the year before.
when does it start
World Events tend to begin at 3:30PM Server Time on Thursdays, so I’m guessing that’s when Summerfest will start.
how did you get Glyph to find your Rift game folder? It won’t find my 20GB game contents folder.
If you click on Settings it should show you all the games. Click on one and then link it to your game folder and that should be it. The first time it will ask to ‘Install’ but all it will do is link up your game folder with the Glyph launcher and you should be able to play shortly afterwards.
If you are getting an error, try running the game in Administrator mode by right-clicking the game icon and choosing “Run as Administrator”.

Thank you for contacting us regarding RIFT.
Unfortunately with the way the patcher is designed, you’ll have to make sure to log out from your machine any time you know someone might be able to access your computer. Anyone else will not be able to access your account from anywhere without having your account credentials. They would still need the authenticator number as well if they did somehow manage to get a hold of your credentials.
That’s rather unnerving – but at least I only log into the game at home. I’m guessing anyone who players RIFT in a PC cafe/room would be much more concerned though.
