Some News Tidbits for RIFT on 23rd July 2014:
- Autumn Harvest is currently scheduled for the early part of November. [r] [Annual World Events tend to be quite similar from year to year outside of a few new quests and new store items. You can check out last year’s Autumn Harvest + Event Items here.]
- Gingers will take a look at adding a “[playername] is currently soul walking” text in the respawn/soul walk option bar so players know if someone is already soul walking after a wipe. Not 100% guaranteed though. [r]
- Patron Benefits Bug – With RIFT 2.7 Hotfix #15, they added in a “Bonus Warfront Charges” and “Bonus Dungeon Charges” ability that grants 3 extra charges per week. However, only the “Bonus Warfront Charges” made it through to the hotfix (for NA. EU might get the fixed version). Thus you will only see “Bonus Warfront Charges” this week. This will be fixed with the next hotfix. [r]
- Deeps’, Crucia’s, Greenscale’s and Budgie Supply Crates are now available for 650 Credits (585 for Patrons) under Rift Store (default key “]“) -> Chests & Keys.
- Exceptionally Dyes are up on the Rift Store -> Wardrobe -> Dyes section for the next week. These include Exceptionally Black, Exceptionally Mint, Exceptionally Pink, Ex Pumpkin, Ex Purple, Ex Ruby, Ex Crimson, Ex Sapphire, Ex Sky, Ex Violet, Ex White.
- The Blighted Antechamber Warfront is back up on Live, this time for Level 60s only.
Also, the new “Patron’s Radiance” toggle ability for Patrons adds a ‘halo’ effect above the player’s head, like so:
