The “Tales of the Deep: The Fall of Gyel” article goes over the past history of the Tree of Gyel, the massive construct overlooking Goboro Reef, before the Bloodfire Army took hold and turned the place into Gyel Fortress.

A very interesting read, especially when imagining the falling vessels creating the metal-laced Gyel Fortress.

Check out the article here.

You can also check out preview Tales of the Deep articles here:

The “Exploring Goboro Reef Part 2: Fortress of Flames” article shows off Gyel Fortress, the “monolithic base of operations for the invading Bloodfire Army”. It also briefly introduces the Pelagic Order, a group of Onir who were born from the dreams of crusaders; The Ghar – descendents of ancient Eth explorers; burnt Skelf; as well as the Razudan – half-mortal, half-devil nobles from the Plane of Fire.

In Gyel Fortress you will face Seethe (a Skelf), Kytus (a houndmaster), Admiral Nezavar and Lady Glasya herself.

Check out the article here. Don’t forget to also check out Part 1 of Exploring Goboro Reef here.

Alongside the new Tales of the Deep article is one of the dungeon itself, Gyel Fortress.
