PTS Datamining for 8-9th October 2014

PTS Datamining 9th Oct 2014 Feature Image

A double-edition Datamining for both the 8th and 9th of October 2014’s PTS Update. A lot of re-download, but a handful of new additions nonetheless.

You can check out changes that are live on the PTS Update here and here.

Summary:

  • Further Clumps
  • Various Models – Red/Blue Porticulums; Fetus Aquariums; Bounce Critter Rig.
  • NT Map Previews – A ton of map icons.
  • Cloud Skin Files
  • Datamined Icons – Costumes and weaponry icons.

As always, everything below is subject to change prior to hitting Live and some things included below may never make it to Live release.

Further Clumps

More NT Draumheim Clump Models

More NT Draumheim Clump Models

The clumps just keep coming. More Draumheim clump models filled with various plants, street lamps and other doodads. Again, probably to try to further reduce load times and the amount of loading screens whilst navigating through Draumheim’s city.

Various Models

A couple of other models datamined for the last two PTS Updates:

Blue and Red Mermaid Porticulums

There’s ‘red’ and ‘blue’ versions of the Mermaid Porticulums. These are both under Tarken Glacier. Probably adjustments to the porticulum’s ‘portal’ color.

Fetus Aquarium Models

Fetus Aquarium Models

Fetus Aquarium models. One broken and one intact in Tarken Glacier. More doodads/quest items.

Bounce Critter Rig

The ‘Bounce Critter Rig’ is most likely referring to the Sea Sponge. But who knows – look out for some bouncing critters.

Nightmare Tide Map Previews

Started off with only 4 NT map previews for the instances on the main map but we’ve now got map previews for pretty much all major points. More polish!

Right now the map previews all show the porticulums with ‘green’ portal vfx. However, the mermaid porticulums datamined today seems to suggest that some Tarken Glacier porticulums will be turning blue or red.

Cloud Skin Files

Cloud Skin Files

Cloud Skin Files

Not too exciting, but here’s two cloud skin files. There’s quite a few cloud skins. The skies of the Plane of Water look really amazing thanks to them.

Datamined Icons

Datamined Icons 9th Oct 2014

More datamined icons. This time we’ve got:

  • 4 Green Wardrobe Icons which are likely the ‘Nightmare PJ’s’ achievement reward for “Draumheim Doodads” that was added to the PTS recently.
  • 2 Swim Trunks-style Icons which are likely the ‘Goboro Coral Swimsuit’ achievement reward for “Moist Mementoes”.
  • The rest are clearly Nightmare/Tribulation weaponry icons.

Some more datamining, although the ‘new’ info is getting sparse because it’s all coming up on PTS straight away. There’s still a few bits of datamining not yet appearing on the PTS though – like the Ranger and Beastmaster new companion pets (Monty and Rodney) that were revealed by Vladd back in July.

Don’t forget to check out the PTS Update articles for the 8th and 9th October if you haven’t already; here and here.

Nightmare Tide is in Open Beta right now on the PTS, so check all the changes out for yourself on the PTS!
