RIFT news tidbits for 29th October 2014. Check out all the info below:

General

• Minions Info.
  • Hidden Minion Card: Ra’Aran of Fate. Accol on the forums posted a new hidden minion card: Ra’Aran of Fate. No details on how to obtain but it probably involves the “Great Walls of Fire” achievement found under Achievements -> Raids -> RIFT: Storm Legion -> Bindings of Blood and then entering the Rhen of Fate.
    
  • Hidden Minion Cards can be found in all types of content. [r]
  • Skipping Adventures. Snedhepl has stated that Trion are looking at ideas for skipping adventures without losing the luck-based aspect attached to them. No details yet. [r]
  • There are 31 Dimension Adventures and 31 Artifact Adventures. [r]

• Autumn Harvest 2014. The annual world event for Halloween/Autumn is coming back at 3:30PM Server Time on 30th Oct 2014 and ending on 13th Nov 2014 at 3:30PM Server Time. Annual World Events tend to be similar in activities with main changes based on the goodies you can get under RIFT Store -> World Event. Check out 2013’s guide for the general gist of the world event’s activities.
  • RIFT Mobile has a limited time lootables game with Autumn Harvest rewards. [r]

• Manugo Info. Captaincursor has posted information that Trion is monitoring Manugo and has a number of safeguards in case anything breaks. It seems last week’s reset pushed Manugo to 1/5th of its theoretical limit. [r] How high will it go this week?

• RIFT Mobile app Authentication Issue. There’s currently an issue with the RIFT Mobile app’s authentication being too sensitive to IP differences between the RIFT Mobile and the device you use to log into Glyph. Trion are aware of the issue and looking into it. [r]

• More Color Blind Options. Trion are looking into expanding their color blind-friendly options that can be found under ESC -> Settings -> Interface -> Colors. A few requests from players such as changing the color of missing ingredients for crafting [r] and for in-game error messages will be looked at [r]. No ETA.

• Nightmare Tide Rare Spawns. TehJohnny on Reddit has posted a list of Nightmare Tide Rare spawn locations and is encouraging everyone to contribute to fill up the location’s list. Check it out here and whilst you’re at it, subscribe to RIFT’s subreddit via the side-bar!

• Intim’s NT Minions Guide and Review. Intim provides information on the Minions System in video form as well as a review of the system here.

• Carnage Book Updated. The Addon: Carnage Book has been updated as of three days ago. It has been updated with Goboro Reef, Draumheim and Tarken Glacier carnages. Simply type /carnage -> choose zone -> select filters “Missing”/etc and check which ones you’re missing. It will show location and the mob’s name. Download the new update here.

• Harrow Crypt Dimension Key. The new Harrow Crypt dimension key obtainable from the RIFT Store -> World Events during Autumn Harvest 2014 has now been bought by multiple players on each shard. Check out screenshots and information on the dimension here.

• Zillaan@Deepwood Dimensions. Feendish reveals a hidden gem in Zillaan@Deepwood’s multiple dimensions. Check them out here and come visit Zillaan’s dimensions!

• HS-Design to cosplay Frost Keepers at Role Play Convention 2015. HS-Design will be at it again, cosplaying the Frost Keepers set as a Cleric with Kiyoshi Cosplay (Mage), TapTap Cosplay (Hunter) and Heromancer Cosplay (Warrior) to complete the set. It’s a while’s away (16-17th May 2015) but keep it in your calender and check HS-Design and fellow cosplayers out if you’re attending the convention in Cologne, Germany next year! [r]
