General

• Minions Info.
  • Autumn Harvest Adventures. There’s 6 new Autumn Adventures available randomly from the 10hr Promo Adventures. There’s also an achievement attached to it under Achievements -> World Events -> Autumn Harvest. These can give you special rewards like masks and boxes. [r]
  • Reward Tiers Further Explained. Snedhepl explains that you get a dice roll value, then add matching attributes values to determine the tier reward you end up with. i.e. If you take a Minion with 6 Fire on a Fire/Artifact Adventure and roll a 2; your total is 6+2 = 8. Let’s say there’s 6 reward tiers and tier 2 requires 7 points and tier 3 requires 9 points. You therefore get reward tier 2 for that adventure. More details here.
  • Attributes on Rewards. Whether it is better to send a single-attribute or dual-attribute Minion on an Adventure will depend on the attribute stats of each Minion. I.e. Sending an 11 Fire Minion vs a 6 Fire/5 Artifact Minion on a Fire/Artifact Adventure makes no difference. They both come up with a value of 11. [r]
  • Level on Rewards. Minion Level does not influence the reward by itself. However, leveling up increases your Minion’s attributes and attributes help determine reward. [r]
  • Achievements. Currently a lot of Minion achievements are not shared across characters. Snedhepl has stated that next week you should be able to get the Minions-collected achievement for other characters. [r]
  • Flavor Text. More flavor text will be added over time on Minions that don’t have any. Reason for the missing flavor text is due to tight schedule for launch of Nightmare Tide. [r]

• Autumn Harvest 2014. Autumn Harvest has begun on all shards and ends on 13th Nov 2014 at 3:30PM Server Time.
  • Repeatables to Daily. Repeatable quests from last year have been changed to dailies. Tacitus explains this is due to market flooding. [r] They are looking at the data for future Autumn Harvests and are considering adding an additional means of obtaining potions – but re-enabling the repeatable quests is not on the table. [r]
  • Potions not Working. If your Potion of Autumn Eyes is not working, target yourself by clicking on your character, portrait or group/raid frame and then use the potion. This should be a temporary work-around whilst Trion gets this issue fixed. [r]
  • Autumn Puppets No Event Currency Option. Currently the Random Discarded Puppet: Fae and Random Discarded Puppet: Nobles boxes are credits-only on the RIFT Store -> World Event. This is unintended and the event currency version will be available in the next hotfix. [r]

  • RIFT’s “Autumn Harvest Revived!” Article.

• Extra Life Fundraising Rewards. With Extra Life 2014 over, CM Morgana has posted information on when fundraising rewards will be sent out to players. [r]
  • Titles for RIFT and Defiance. “The Charitable” for 1hr participation and “The Benefactor” for 24hrs participation over the Extra Life weekend last week will be granted by the end of the week. Some titles have already been sent out but due to number of participants this will take a while.
  • Fundraising Tier Rewards. These will be fulfilled by November 6th at the latest. Codes will be via e-mail (gmail users be sure to check your Promotions tab!).
  • $500+ Fundraising Rewards. These will be fulfilled manually by Trion – should be sent to you before end of next week.
  • Trion Contests. For those who donated to devs’ fundraising pages, the winners will be contacted starting this week and running into next week.

• Nightmare Tide Expert Secret Loot. Oroborus on the forums has started a topic discussing where to obtain each of the Nightmare Tide Expert ‘secret loot’. Basically, each Nightmare Tide Expert has an extra loot chest you can pick up if you perform certain conditions. Check out the thread here.

• Citadel of Insanity Secret Loot Video. Oria Xu posts a video on how to obtain the bonus loot chest for the Citadel of Insanity Expert. Check the video here!

• Nightmare Tide Rare Spawns (now with Pilfered Purses!). TehJohnny’s ‘Nightmare Tide Rare Spawns’ reddit post is coming along nicely with a whole heap of new co-0rdinates. He has also started to take in co-ordinates for Pilfered Purses. Check them out here!
