
You can get 300 Hit weapons as a rare chance from Nightmare Tide Zone Events, except for ‘Fortress’-style events (the shielding ones).

Forward Base Zone Event Weapons*
Here’s three examples linked by players in-game from weapons that are apparently dropping as rare chance from these base-type zone events. +300 Hit with some nice stats on some of them. (oddly the Warrior two-hand has no Attack Power).
The following zone events are excluded from dropping the gear (the Fortress/Forward Base events):
- Corsair’s Castle
- Parapet of Plenty
- Bulwark of Bones
- Molten Keep
- Aquium Citadel
- Fortress of the Broodmother
Archonix has confirmed that only none-Fortress events in the Plane of Water have a chance of dropping the gear. [r]
Not having the bosses despawn with 8 minutes left due to server strain would be kinda cool. Yesterday, a Russian guild on Zaviel (EU) even had their DRR despawn in the middle of phase 5, taking the first chest with it…
In my experience people are not even trying to complete these types of zone events because of the problems. I hope trion makes some changes so they are more fun and easier to complete.
I’ve seen quite a few complete recently, but mainly because one or two guilds decided to band together to get them completed. There’s definitely issues with ability lag, mobs popping in and out and disconnects/crashing though.
Warrior and Rogue weapons don’t always have attack power. Instead they have weapon damage which is useless to Mage/Clerics, so they have spell power on everything.
