General

• Autumn Harvest 2014. Autumn Harvest is on-going and ends on 19th Nov 2014 at 11:59PM Server Time.

• Zone Event Rewards. Tacitus will take a look at inconsistencies between the scaling of zone event rewards for lower level zone events and has a fix potentially in for this week’s hotfix for Marks of Notoriety reward issues. [r]

• Exploit Roll-backs. Over the previous weekend there was an exploit identified for one of the new Raid Rifts – Sea of Ladon – which involved endlessly respawning NPCs that grant experience. Offenders have been rolled back to 12am PST on 11th November. [r]

• Crystalline Shield bug fix. The bug with Mage’s Crystalline Shield where it is not being applied at times should be fixed with this week’s hotfix. [r]

• Upcoming Rogue Changes. Vladd mentioned a few potential upcoming changes to Rogues. [r]
  • Vladd confirmed that he is looking to make Physician’s ST healing a bit more competitive with Cleric’s Purifier healing spec. Possibly changing Maintenance Therapy’s Heal over Time component into a shield.
  • Ranger’s upcoming revamp will include a talent or root that will allow damaging abilities to increase to 35m range (not stacking with Keen Eye).
  • There may be an addition for Saboteurs in Rogue Masteries coming soon.

• Low-level Planarite Gear Clean-up. With the removal of sourcestone-to-planarite conversion that was introduced at the launch of Nightmare Tide, it is now a lot more difficult for low-level players to obtain planarite gear. Tacitus has announced that all pre-50 world store currency (Cursed Sourcestone, Inscribed Sourcestone/etc) will be converted to a single ‘Sourcestone’. [r]
  • Pre-50 Planar gear cost will focuse more on this Sourcestone instead of planarite.
  • All such gear will become Bind to Account.
  • This is a change from Tacitus’ previous plans that involved converting them all into planarite.
  • Will be up on PTS this week and arrive on Live in a few weeks’ time.
  • A Sourcestone Gear Vendor that combines all the pre-50 sourcestone gear merchant offerings in Sanctum and Meridian could be added in. No ETA. [r]

• Planarite in Nightmare Rifts. At present, players under Level 50 are being rewarded an excessive amount of planarite from Nightmare Rifts and those above 50 are not getting any. Tacitus has stated that he has adjusted the numbers and players under 50 should earn less whilst those above 50 should earn some planarite whilst doing Nightmare Rifts in a couple of weeks’ time. • Nightmare Rift Vs Returned. Nightmare Rift Vs were temporarily removed from the RIFT Store due to an exploit. They have since returned and the offending exploit removed. [r]

• Missed Heals. Have you seen your healing ‘miss’ your target? Please report in-game with what type of encounter it was (rift/dungeon/raid/pvp/etc), the specific encounter in question, whether you were mentored or were mentored recently and if you are on a PvP server or flagged for PvP. It seems with Nightmare Tide, a new bug was introduced that is causing heals to miss sometimes in certain situations. [r]
