General

• Low Activity Explained. Tacitus explains that the low presence of developers on the forums as well as the small, early hotfix this week is due to staff taking time off after the expansion launch and due to Thanksgiving in the US (26th November). [r]

• Big Patches Incoming. Tacitus did mention “Big patches coming soon.” although how soon is ‘soon’ is anyone’s guess. [r]
  • Last year the gap between patches was about 3 months from Patch #2.5 on 6th Nov 2013 to Patch #2.6 on 12th Feb 2014. In the previous year when Storm Legion launched, the gap was just one month from Patch #2.0 on 13th Nov 2012 to Patch #2.1 on 12th Dec 2012. So 3.1 could be anywhere from next month to February of next year.

• Unicornalia Promo Week! Unicornalia Promo Week ends at 3:30PM Server Time on 27th November. You can check out a guide to the Promo Week here!

• Mount Sharax Kills. Congratulations to Trinity and -Vendetta- for getting World 2nd and World 3rd The Yrlwalach kill. Good luck to Apotheosys (World 1st), Trinity and -Vendetta- on the final boss Threngar. Current standings and kill videos can be found here.

• About Dimension Items from Minions. The addition of the minion system in RIFT: Nightmare Tide has introduced a ton of dimension items into the game. Kiwi has made a very informative post on the RIFT forums about Dimensions, including where to go to learn more about them.
