These announcements have happened before and usually resulted in free Credits, Troves or dimension items to random players who have subscribed to receive e-mails from RIFT. In previous years, some players have received codes for Candy Cane dimension items during this time of year.
How To Opt-In
To opt-in, you will need to subscribe to receive e-mails from RIFT. This can be done from your RIFT account on the RIFT website.
- Log into your account via the RIFT or Glyph website.
- Hover over the ‘Account’ tab at the top of the website and click on ‘Newsletters’ in the drop-down menu.
- Make sure you have the “Click this box to receive RIFT announcements and promotional messages.” checkbox ticked, then hit SAVE.
You might also want to make sure that rift@e-mail.triongames.com is not tagged as spam for your e-mail. Also, if you are using g-mail, RIFT promotional e-mails/newsletters usually default to your Promotions tab.
