Fae Yule World Event

The Fae Yule World Event started on 11th Dec and will end on 8th January at 3:30PM Server Time.

General

• Contest: Ice Strider Mount Giveaway Winner. Congratulations to Faxir@Gelidra for winning RiftGrate’s recent Ice Strider Mount giveaway! Hope you enjoy your mount! For everyone else, keep an eye out for more to come!

• Livestream Summary 19th Dec 2014. Trion holds end-of-year livestream answering player questions and providing various tidbits. Snapes is joined by Tacitus, Daglar and Snedhepl. Livestream Summary can be found here.

• Minions Info:
  
  • Account-wide Achieves. All ‘do x’ adventures will be account-wide in the future. [r]
  • Fae Yule 10hr Promo Info. Adventures do not appear if they are already in-progress or waiting to be claimed. For the 10hr Fae Yule Promo adventures, you might see multiple because there’s a total of 6 of them available in the 10hr deck. [r]

• Mage Necromancer Changes. Kervik responds to player feedback on upcoming Mage Necromancer changes. [r]
  • Soul Purge heal reduction has been corrected to 10/20/30% based on points spent.
  • Kervik may consider changing Deathly Calling stacks so it stacks on the mage.
  • Necromancer pets will be looked at once the other changes go on Live.
  • With this round of changes Kervik is not looking to move abilities around the soul tree. Might be looked at in the future.
  • Kervik will make the Healing Exigency Mastery increase the range of Essence Link to 35m.

• Coral Whetstone Recipe Change. Coral Whetstones’ recipe will change to 1x Thalasite Bar, 2x Fused Sarfiber and 1x Coral Lacquer in the next patch. This will make the recipe cheaper by 2x Thalasite Bar and 1x Fused Sarfiber. [r]

• Crit Pot Fix. Crit Pots will be fixed so that they will properly overwrite Tempest’s Focus Fire in the next patch. [r]

• Fae Yule Gift E-mail. The Fae Yule Gift e-mail that contains 7 days Patron and a Merry Mink Trove should have been sent out by now. If you have not received it, please check that you were subscribed for RIFT e-mails prior to the e-mails getting sent out; check spam filters and Promotions tab (for g-mail users). There may also be a delay between the e-mail getting sent and appearing in your mail. [r]

• Golden Devourer Invitational – 27th Dec. Telnedra on the RIFT forums is inviting players on the North American shards for a cross-shard event to take down The Golden Devourer on Wolfsbane and get your Minion Card: The Golden Devourer (+200 Fragments of Horror + Dark Ice Bell). Event will be at 6pm ST/PST on Saturday, 27th Dec 2014 (TC)(CD). [r]

• Raid Videos – Multiple Perspectives. If you are interested in checking out a whole bunch of videos for the Rhen of Fate and Mount Sharax raids from multiple perspectives, check out Apotheosys’ Video page. Perspectives are mainly Cleric and Mage tank, dps and heal specs.

• RIFT Reforged Podcast Ep. 18. Check out Episode 18 of the RIFT Reforged Podcast where they go over all the news and juicy information from the past week! Record of livestream can be found here.

• New Event Tracker. StatFortress has a new RIFT Event Tracker that you can check out here. It has a different list-style layout compared to other Event Trackers like Matti, Aowar or RiftPluz. StatFortress’ event tracker lists elapsed time without having to hover over the zone event. Give it a shot and check out all four event trackers to find the one that suits you best!

• Bad Santa Dimension. Check out Ralitza@Gelidra’s “Bad Santa” dimension in the latest tour by Feendish. There’s an Aussie (summer-wear) Santa Claus! Howzat?

Site Update

Just a heads up that I’ll be working on a few things over the next few weeks including:

• Add Max Minion attributes to each minion in the Minion Database.
• Add an Attribute Match-style table to a new tab in the Minion Database. This should hopefully make it easier to find minions with attributes that you are missing. Minions with more than 2 attributes will get assigned to all their various combinations.
• Update Minions Guide with information on max minion attribute patterns.
• Should be able to update the Dream Orbs Stat Sheet with Relic Tier 1 Helm/Shoulder stats by the end of the week.
