Daglar has announced that Trion has not turned off the Faelight Sparkle quest for this week’s hotfix. As such the drops as well as the quest itself will exist for another reset week.
That said, once the quest does turn off, you will no longer be able to earn sparkles.
We didn’t turn off the sparkle quest yet as we missed the build time frame for it. The drops will still exist for another week as will the quest.
However, when the quest is turned off, all of the sparkles will no longer be dropping / obtainable.
This will hopefully give some extra breathing room for players still on the quest.
It’s been confirmed that you can pick up a brand new quest this reset week.

I was kinda glad that it was ending… Don’t have it in me to farm again… oh well, let the grinding begin!
It is possible to pick the quest again, I just did it on the EU shard 🙂
It’s a weekly so it’s possible that you’ll be able to pick it up again after reset.
I was confirming it, the EU shards were already reset when I wrote the comment 🙂

In the German clieant, if you hover over the sparkle reward in the LFG tool, it say something like: as long as you have the quest, you can earn the sparkels. I havent finished one quest jet (i was not in during christmas time) and feel betrayed if they switch off the sparkel gain now …..
