New Year’s Special Giveaway Winner

Thanks to all those who entered into RiftGrate’s recent New Year’s Special Giveaway held from 31st December 2014 to 8th January 2015! Hope you’re all having a smashing new year! There was a total of 321 entries!*

Going Ahead

Quite a surprise to see recent giveaways/contests being taken up by all the EU winners lately; it seems they’ve been blessed by the rng gods! I guess it’s payback for the almost complete lack of EU winners for the previous 3.0-related giveaways. Perhaps I’ll give an NA and EU winner for future giveaways/contests to even the playing field.

I’m also considering adding more task-specific contests instead of pure giveaways to mix things up a bit in the future and reduce the rng factor.

For anyone who is interested, I collected all 321 entries and used a List Randomizer found on www.random.org. The top entry was deemed the winner.

*Discrepancies between comment total and no. of entries inputted into the Randomizer are due to comments that were not entries, or ones that were too suspicious to add in (i.e. 12 submissions with the same IP address with a 1min apart submission or just pure duplicates). I understand that some submissions may have been husband/wife, parent/child-type submissions. However, I’ve made a judgment call to only include one of them for submission purposes.
