60-day RIFT Time-cards for $10 @ Best Buy

General Feature Image

[Offer Expired]

Players who frequent the RIFT Forums probably already know about this deal, but recently forbiddenlake on the forums discovered that RIFT 60-day Game Time Cards (Patron) are going for $9.99 at Best Buy.

That’s a pretty sweet deal since they normally go for $30, and if your order is $35 or over, it’s Free Shipping (probably US-only). There’s also an in-store pickup option and if you find any 60-day cards at your local Best Buy store, you can ask them to price-check their site to pick them up for $10.

Four of those effectively gives you a year’s worth of Patron for $40 compared to Trion’s normal price of $120.

Pick them up here whilst stocks last! Please check the site for any details on shipping policy.

Shipping is US-only as well. Ah well, didn’t want to get patron anymore anyways after the latest changes to customer support.

I think your math is slightly off.
60 days is 2 months. 4 of these will net you 8 months, not 12.

The Best Buy site limits you to purchasing only 3 of these per order, so you cannot get free shipping without buying something else as well (I’m thinking about picking up Borderlands 2 for the PC for $6). It is a good deal for 2 months of Patron time compared to the normal subscription price since even at the 12 month level it is $9.99 per month while this deal is only $5 per month.

yeah, limit of three and shipping would be – $8.97 no ship to store option or any in-stock at my local store.

Same, 30% for postage is quite the ripoff since we know the postage would be about 50 cents.

Store pickup for free shipping is not available in some places (Denver, CO suburbs). Unfortunately, this means they are charging 30% for shipping. Still a decent value but not nearly as good of a deal if you have to spend $9 US for postage that actually costs about 50 cents.
