Promo Week

The Arclight Ascendancy Promo Week is up until Thursday 22nd January 2015 at 3:30PM Server. Complete racing and collection dailies, collect event currency and get your Arclight Rider Mount!

The lockbox version of the Arclight Rider Mount is 155% mount speed + Amphibious.

General

• Another PTS Update. There’s been another PTS Update of approx 190mb today. I’ll have more info tomorrow but for now, there’s two new achieves under Zones -> RIFT: Nightmare Tide -> Tyrant’s Throne with a new title: “the Tyrant”.
  • If you’re running around the PTS, be sure to test out the questline on Tyrant’s Throne. CaptainCursor wants players to provide feedback especially for the quest “Infinity Awakens” to see whether the vfx makes you disoriented or ill. You can provide feedback on this quest here.

• Weapon/Armor Discount. There’s currently a 25% discount on the Credit prices of weapons and armor on the RIFT Store found under Equipment -> Armor and Equipment -> Weapons. Not sure how long this discount will last. Stacks with Patron discount. [r]

• No Plans for Alt Tyrant’s Anvil Source. Daglar has confirmed that Trion are not planning on making the upcoming Tyrant’s Anvil upgrade component available anywhere else other than from the upcoming Tyrant’s Forge raid “at this point in time”. The Tyrant’s Anvil is used to upgrade Tier 1 Relic Chests to Transcendent rarity. [r]

• Item Changes Incoming. Josh York has posted a list of changes to some NT items:
  • Increased proc damage for Relic 2-handed weapons.
  • Increased proc rate for Totems and other DPS-oriented 1-handed weapons.
  • ‘Alison the 5th’ and ‘The Liquid Sword’ will have additional stats. No details.
  • ‘Shij Ir, the Gatherer of Shadows’ and ‘Ekor Ira, Hand of Threngar’ will now drop with a DPS-oriented proc. Current versions of the items can be kept as-is or upgraded to the new version once it comes out.
  • Effects which modify damage or healing will now affect Nightmare Tide weapon procs again.
  • Rendered graphics for ‘Dead Dreams’ and ‘Call of the Stormbreaker’ have been fixed.
