RIFT news tidbits for 29th Jan 2015.

General

• RIFT 3.1 Hotfix #1. First hotfix is up a day after 3.1 launch. PA fixed, Crucia no longer spamming and a few Chronicles are back up. Check out full notes here.

• Obsidian Ki Rin on RIFT Store. The Obsidian Ki Rin Mount is now up on the RIFT Store for the next 2 days for 3,000 Credits (2.7k for Patrons).

• Guild Chat Down on Faeblight. Guild chat is not working on the North American shard, Faeblight. It seems it is the only shard with this issue. No response from Trion yet. [r]

• Minion/Shuffling Reset Change. Reset for Minions/Shuffling is now at normal daily server reset time (4am Server Time) instead of at midnight GMT. [r] Also, each time you shuffle, that particular adventure card (not its reward type) goes on cooldown so you won’t see it again for a while. [r]

• Minion Stamina Pots. Snedhepl has stated that there will be ways to increases your Stamina pots. Initial plan is to put them on the RIFT Store (tradeable so can be purchased with plat from other players). Other possible plans include being rewarded from quests, lockboxes, achievements/etc. [r]

• Minions Slots Open Text Larger. Gingers will make the “Slots Open” text above your current, on-going adventures larger so it is easier for players to determine how many Adventure slots are currently being used. [r]

• Dungeon Exp/Coin Text. Dungeon experience or coin rewards not showing in LFG window is intended. [r] Tacitus has explained that it was removed because the value is no longer constant as mentored or sidekicked players earn a different amount. The amount for players at the appropriate level has not changed (so you still get the usual experience/plat if you’re level 65 for a 65 expert). Trion will look into adding text to explain you still get experience/plat. [r]

• Dimension Boundary Fix. Boundary issues for Harrow Crypt dimension will get fix with next week’s hotfix. Also looking at issues with Icewatch dimension boundary size. [r] The rocks blocking Harrow Crypt are also fixed. [r]

• Dimension Building Block/Texture Ideas. Marigold has announced that she would love players to PM her if they have any ideas for new dimension building blocks or textures. [r]

• Shaghi Mobs. Shaghi mobs at Ghadaul Tundra have been fixed. They were instantly respawning when 3.1 hit and had to be removed temporarily due to a PA-farming exploit until today’s hotfix. [r]

• NPC Reavers back to Melee. A fix is coming in so that NPC Reavers will be back to using Melee abilities instead of Reavers’ new ranged abilities. [r]

• General Reaver Fixes. The following Reaver bugs have been fixed and will go likely out with the next hotfix if they aren’t already fixed on Live: [r]
  • Dire Step will now properly apply its tooltip properties (increase movement speed, DoT removal).
  • Reaver ranged auto attack will be called Plagued Reach.
  • Reaver auto attack will no longer stack with Electrified Strikes. I.e., its range will no longer be 55m.
  • Fester debuff tooltip will no longer call it death damage.
  • Reaver aggro multiplier has been fixed. [r]

• Weapon Aegis Bug. Currently Weapon Aegis (from new PA) is giving 10 Endurance instead of the 30 on the tooltip. Known bug and will be getting a fix. [r]

• Windows 10 and RIFT. Pithos has confirmed that Trion does intend to support RIFT running on Windows 10. [r]

• RIFT UI Files updated. If anyone is interested, the RIFT UI files on Trion’s ftp server have been updated with Last Modified: “28/01/2015”. This will mainly interest fansite operators and youtube/twitch streamers. You can check out the files here.

• Tyrant’s Forge Conqueror Achievement Reward. The reward for getting Conqueror: Tyrant’s Forge for the upcoming Tier 1 20-man raid has changed to a PUMPKIN mount. No clue what its mount speed is or if it is amphibious or not:
