Unexpected NA Shards downtime

The NA shards unexpectedly went down at approximately 8:39pm PST on 11th Feb 2015. Some shards have been crashing intermittently since then.

I’ll update this post with any official responses and server updates.

Thursday 12th Feb 2015

[5:23pm PST] – Laethys Shard back up. No response from Trion on cause.

[5:19pm PST] – Wolfsbane Shard back up. No response from Trion on cause.

[5:13pm PST] – Laethys Shard goes down.

[4:45pm PST] – Wolfsbane Shard goes down.

[4:30pm PST] – Faeblight Shard back up. No response from Trion on cause.

[3:25pm PST] – Faeblight Shard goes down.

Wednesday 11th Feb 2015

[11:22pm PST] – Laethys Shard is back up!

[11:13pm PST] – Laethys shard is still down.

[10:08pm PST] – CM Morgana has posted the following message in regards to on-going Laethys down-time:

Hey all,

Laethys has had some trouble recovering after the shards crashed. We’re currently investigating the root cause, but don’t yet have an ETA for its return.

We’ll be sure to update you all within the next hour.

[9:42pm PST] – Laethys Shard crashes. No response from Trion yet as to why Laethys is the only shard down, or ETA on the shard coming back up.

[9:08pm PST] – Shards slowly coming back online one by one.

[9:03pm PST] – CM Morgana has posted the following message:

Hey guys,

The shards are coming back online as we speak, and the team will be taking a look into the cause. Guild chat and a few other things may not fully return until all shards are entirely back online. Thanks for your patience!
