Carnival of the Ascended 2015
The Carnival of the Ascended World Event is on-going, celebrating the 4th Anniversary of RIFT! New Carnival goods such as masks, weapon costumes, ‘bubble’ Dimension items, Carousel Ram mount and Level 65 Essences can be found on the RIFT Store -> World Event.

- Carnival lasts until 3:30PM Server Time on 19th March 2015.

- New Concept Art! There’s a few items revealed in concept art uploaded yesterday by RIFT Lead Concept Artist Sven Bybee: Battle Boar mounts, Great Hound mounts, Nightmare Weapon Set #2 and a ‘Rogue’ Nightmare Outfit. You can check out full images and further information here.
- More Info on Bags. The 30-slot bag coming to RIFT with Patch 3.2 will be unique equip and available on the RIFT Store for 1x Lucid Dreams, 1x Dreaming Rune Amender and 1x Nightmare Textile amender. The 28-slot craftable bags will use Nightmare Tide mats. [r]
- Bare Knuckled Quest Disabled. The Bare-Knuckled quests in Scarwood Reach have been temporarily disabled. No ETA on when they’ll return. [r]

I did this today what was wrong with it??
Given they had to disable it outside of a hotfix, I’m guessing someone found an exploit or something similar.

Yea, the latest additions are pretty expensive. I was going to upgrade my last two remaining Expert gear (Belt/Boots) but after looking at the upgrade requirements and their recipes I just “noped” right out of there. The next day I got myself two Dreambreaker gear which – when fully upgraded – are even better than the new Expert upgrades. And their cost? 6x Abyssal Crusader’s Accelerators (have a heap of Aby marks stocked up) and a few Favor Infused Accelerators (had about 40 on me; real easy to get – 10k favor each). Huge difference in cost, and yet the Dreambreaker gear has better stats.
I think Trion went a little too far with the costs for the new gear; and looks like they’re throwing in the 30-slot bag for similar.
I think they are losing touch completely. the crafting system is messed up, among other things. I have 50 so days of premium left from the second expansion year that they didn’t offer this go round.(they charged MORE for an expansion and gave less) It will be my last. I left Blizzard and haven’t gone back Trion will be very easily forgotten…
Beside I have like 2 years of back log on my Steam Account games…
