Unexpected EU Shard Issues

Shards Down Feature Image

The EU shards have been experiencing some across-the-board latency spikes, chat server issues and unexpected down-time. Trion will be restarting EU servers to hopefully fix the issues.

(Thanks to Gutek@Zaviel for informing me!)

I’ll update this post with any official responses and server updates.

[9:36pm GMT] – EU Shards are back up!

[9:00pm GMT] – Estimated down-time is 45min. [r]

[8:55pm GMT] – Pithos responds that they are taking EU shards down for sever restart to hopefully fix issues.

Greetings everyone,

We’ll be restarting the EU shards in a moment to deal with the slowness you’ve been experiencing. My apologies for the downtime.

[6:35pm GMT] – Back up but chat servers down.

[6:30pm GMT] – EU shards crash.

[6:26 GMT] – EU shards experiencing a bout of slowness/lag spikes/ability lag.

Check your hotkeys via ESC -> Key Bindings and find “Duplicate Dimension Item” under Dimensions category. The default I think is CTRL+D. That means that if you have CTRL+# hotkeys and you’re trying to move, say, right whilst pressing CTRL+# key, it’ll assume you’re trying to duplicate a dimension item and not move.

There could be other reasons for your issue. Or perhaps some Mastery or Soul was reset/changed so you have to hard-cast now.
