Trion has updated RIFT with RIFT 3.1 Hotfix #6 as at 3/4/15 6:00 AM PST(NA) and 3/5/15 2:00 AM GMT (EU). Download is approx. 100mb.
Summary:
- Carnival of the Ascended.
- Guide: Carnival of the Ascended 2015. The guide has been updated accordingly with the new changes.
- Carnival 6-star 10hr Minion Adventures. The box that drops from these 6-star adventures are now the Limited Edition: Twisted Carousel Ram instead of the Fae Yule Gift of Giving box.
- Can Harvest over 375. Harvestables such as Ultra-thin Hides and Pumice Stones can be gained by using gathering professions with skill levels of over 375 again. This is for the “Building the Parade Floats” turn-in.
- Auroral-to-Prize Ticket Conversion. You can now exchange 1x Auroral Doubloon for 50x Prize Tickets at the Moneychanger. Perdel in Sanctum at (7403, 3120); Rakim the Thrifty in Meridian at (6117, 5181).
- All Level 65 Carnival essences have been upgraded from main stat +158 to +188 and CP from +177 to +210. Tank gear has also been adjusted. Note that each classes essences are the same – just with WIS/INT or STR/DEX switched around.
Carnival 2015 Essence Upgrade
- Crafting Changes. Removed Storm Legion material requirements from Unholy Talon of Izbithu and Accursed version recipes. They now use Nightmare Tide materials.
- Dimension Keys no longer Stack.
- Tier 2 Guard Rating. You can now see updated % damage reduction for your Guard rating for Tier 2 raiding. These are initial values and are subject to change. (Note: You’ll need to put tank buffs on to see your Guard unless a tank in your party is nearby.)
- Guild Quest Adjustments. Manugo weekly requirement reduced from 10k to 600; Conquest weeklies reduced (Level 25+ one dropped from something like 7,500 to 2,500).
- Various Class Changes. Changes to Cleric: Inquisitor; Mage: Archon, Dominator, Pyromancer; Rogue: Marksman.
- Arclight Minion. Jineth’s Arclight Adventures are now permanent. Previously they were only active during Arclight Infiltration Promo Week. You can now work towards completing “Arclight Mastery” achievement found under Achievements (default key “h“) -> Promotions to get your Attractor Minion Card: Archaeologist Herim.
- Instant Adventure Adjustments. IA boss health reduced by 60%; IA ‘kill’ adventure objective scaling reworked to be smoother as more players join the IA. More info on the scaling can be found here.

The Tier 2 damage reduction from guard has been visible for quite some time,so that´s nothing new btw 😉

They really buffed pyro int oa “premiere single target dps spec” wow what a joke. Good job Redhawk — such a disappoint.
