4 Years of Rift Infographic + Codes

Trion has posted up a large Infographic celebrating the Fourth Anniversary of RIFT with various kinds of interesting information like faction and race break-downs, class %s, top soul combinations, hours played, quests completed, monsters killed and rifts closed.

4th Anniversary Promo Codes

They also added some sweet codes for players to use:

J3PN-NXKR-GRKQ-WYHN-2RNK

RMJR-3EKZ-JZKD-LXGE-YQZG

T6NG-NP9N-HPPY-3CYJ-RM7E

[Codes expire 11:59PM PDT 14th March 2015] [r]

(There was a 4th code in the Infographic, but it was a one-use only so it’s long gone).

The codes can be redeemed for a Dwarven Smithy Goggles (helm costume), Hooty companion pet and “the Devotee” title.

Input these codes into RIFT’s Apply Code/Redeem Page. If you aren’t logged in, you will be prompted to do so afterwards. You should get the items in your in-game mail although some might take some time to be sent to you. (If you don’t receive some of them but it shows up in your redemption page, it might mean that you’ve already got the item applied from a previous code)

You can check out the infographic in Trion’s article here.

Some interesting tidbits:

  • Guardians and High Elves are the most popular choices for faction and race. Dwarves are the least popular accounting for only 9% of the population.
  • Not surprisingly, Rogues are the most played class. Interestingly, Clerics are the least played class by a decent margin.
  • 229mil Rifts closed.
  • Rarest mount is the Swift Soulbound Warhorse that dropped during the River of Souls event back in 1.1.
  • Rarest companion pets are Night Owl (562; Extra Life 2014), Ducklar (118; Live Stream Giveaways) and Loner (27; Tarken It All achievement).

Why create a ridiculously limited number of codes for *digital* items that cost your company absolutely nothing beyond the initial creation?

The codes expired a couple of weeks after the Infographic was uploaded so it is no longer available.
