RIFT news tidbits for 6th March 2015.

Carnival of the Ascended 2015

The Carnival of the Ascended World Event is on-going, celebrating the 4th Anniversary of RIFT! New Carnival goods such as masks, weapon costumes, ‘bubble’ Dimension items, Carousel Ram mount and Level 65 Essences can be found on the RIFT Store -> World Event.

• Carnival Phase 2 has begun as of Thursday 5th March 2015.
• Carnival lasts until 3:30PM Server Time on 19th March 2015.

Temporal Flux Promo Week

Temporal Flux Promo Week is on-going. There’s a ‘Temporal Flux Vault III’ that contains a rare chance at a Black Empyreal Walker mount as well as daily quests that reward event currency.

General

• 4 Years of RIFT Infographic + Codes. Trion has posted up an Infographic with some interesting statistics on the last 4 years of RIFT. Trion also added some codes to the Infographic but those were limited use and have since expired. More info here.

• PAX East Announcements. Trion held their PAX East After-Party today and also announced that they are working on a 5th Calling, the Planetouched Wilds zone, Raid-zone Instant Adventures and Tier 2 Raid: Return to Hammerknell Fortress! More info can be found here.
  • Vox Budgie. At 5:27 into Zaber’s audio recording of the announcements, they mention that you can get a “Vox Budgie” in RIFT by leveling up to 20 in Trove. [r] Not 100% sure if this is a companion pet or mount, but likely uses the black/red skin datamined last week. (Thanks to Zurt for the info and Zaber for the recording!)
  • Note: This will be patched in on Tuesday 10th March 2015 so if you have a Level 20 Trove character you’ll have to wait till then to get your Vox Budgie. [r]
    

• Temporal Flux Vault III. Tacitus has confirmed that the Temporal Flux Vault III scales up to level 65 so you don’t have to worry about getting Level 60 lockbox gear as a Level 65. [r]

• Dungeon Queue Issue. Some players might have experienced difficulty earlier today when trying to jump into a dungeon from LFG window. This has been fixed without shard downtime. [r]

• More Dimension Items. Morticus has posted up some more dimension items that will be coming to RIFT in Patch 3.2. A few are talking NPCs whilst others are stationary: [r]
