Carnival of the Ascended 2015

The Carnival of the Ascended World Event is on-going, celebrating the 4th Anniversary of RIFT! New Carnival goods such as masks, weapon costumes, ‘bubble’ Dimension items, Carousel Ram mount and Level 65 Essences can be found on the RIFT Store -> World Event.

• Carnival lasts until 3:30PM Server Time on 19th March 2015.

Temporal Flux Promo Week

Temporal Flux Promo Week is on-going. There’s a ‘Temporal Flux Vault III’ that contains a rare chance at a Black Empyreal Walker mount as well as daily quests that reward event currency.

General

• Vox Budgie. Some of you might have missed this info since I updated it a while after the initial News Tidbits post yesterday. There’s also additional info:
  • During Trion’s PAX East Party, they announced that you can get a Vox Budgie for RIFT by leveling to 20 in Trove.
  • Lead Developer for Trove, Andrew Krausnick has since confirmed on twitter that the patch for the Vox Budgie trigger will go out next Tuesday. [r]
  • If you are already Level 20, you simply have to log in to Trove for the reward to trigger. [r]

• Dimension Info:
  • The numerous NPC dimension items mentioned yesterday will likely be obtained through a variety of different activities. They will be tradeable though.
  • Trion are looking to create new sound objects that will allow you to better position where sound appears in your dimension. No ETA. [r]

• Hammerknell Instant Adventure Teaser. Tacitus teased players with a screenshot of an instant adventure objective in the upcoming Hammerknell Fortress Instant Aventure. ETA: Approx 3.2. Also notice that AFKers won’t receive rewards! [r]

• GR IA Objective Disabled. “Dreambound Skelf” instant adventure objective in Goboro Reef has been disabled as it does not work well with with recent IA scaling changes. [r]
