RIFT news tidbits for 10th March 2015.

Carnival of the Ascended 2015

The Carnival of the Ascended World Event is on-going, celebrating the 4th Anniversary of RIFT! New Carnival goods such as masks, weapon costumes, ‘bubble’ Dimension items, Carousel Ram mount and Level 65 Essences can be found on the RIFT Store -> World Event.

• Carnival lasts until 3:30PM Server Time on 19th March 2015.

Temporal Flux Promo Week

Temporal Flux Promo Week is on-going. There’s a ‘Temporal Flux Vault III’ that contains a rare chance at a Black Empyreal Walker mount as well as daily quests that reward event currency.

General

• 5th Calling: Primalist. The (initial) name for the 5th Calling that is slated to come to RIFT this year is “Primalist” according to the PTS. This was found by Basile on the RIFT Forums when viewing gear tooltips.

• Vox Budgie With Level 20 Trove. The Vox Budgie is now available to players who level to 20 in Trion’s Voxel MMO: Trove. If you are already Level 20, simply log into Trove and the mount will be sent to all your characters in-game mail in RIFT.
  • You can download Trove from your Glyph Client in the left-hand sidebar.
  • If you’re level 20 in Trove and haven’t received in-game mail in RIFT with the Vox Budgie, make sure to log into Trove, switch class to your Level 20 character and change worlds (by going through an Adventure portal). [r]

• Tier 2 Raid Testing Applications Open. Does your guild want to test the Tier 2 raid “Return to Hammerknell”? CM Ocho has opened up applications – please speak to your guild leader and have one person post their application to this thread here. Details in the thread.

• More on PvP Bolstering Issues. It seems that item enchantments such as runes and powerstones are not being recognized in PvP on gear that has been bolstered down. Pithos has stated that Trion will be taking a look at this bug “in the near future”. [r]

• Crafting Savant Daily NPC. The Savant Crafting Daily NPC in Choreburg, Draumheim will also be arriving in Tempest Bay. Location will be (12771, 11684) right next to the Mail box in Tempest Bay’s crafting hub. ETA: 3.2. [r]
