As some of you might have noticed, the RIFT Forums have been down for a few hours now, being replaced with the following Trion Worlds “Scheduled Downtime” page:

Forum Posting Issues March 20, 2015
Heya folks,
It appears some players are running into an issue where they are incorrectly being identified as not having a character of sufficient level to post. Don’t worry, this isn’t the result of anything you’ve done! We’re currently investigating this issue and will get it sorted out as quick as possible.

Perhaps Trion has taken down the RIFT Forums to address this issue.
The RIFT’s twitter account has also mentioned the below, posted at 12:01PM on 20th March 2015:

In short, the forums are down; and it will be coming back up at some point in the future. I’ll keep you updated with any additional info.

[7:30PM PDT] – RIFT Forums are back up!
[6:07PM PDT] – Trion has posted on Twitter that they are still working to get the RIFT Forums back up and running.
[4:28PM PDT] – Trion are continuing to work on a fix.

[2:18PM PDT] – CM Ocho posted on Trion’s Twitch Channel. He stated that there’s still no ETA on when Forums will be back up.
