RIFT news tidbits for 1st April 2015. Quite a mouthful today.

General

• RIFT 3.1 Hotfix #10. The latest hotfix is up bringing in Levitate Supply Crates for Patron Weekly Gift, Level 65 chronicle quest-sharing and The Darkest Magic Raid Rift nerfs. Full notes here.

• PTS Update for 31st March 2015. A very large 4.79GB update hit the Public Test Shard today. 3.2 Wardrobe System; new achievements; crafting additions: daily/weekly, craftable minions, 30-slot bag, fishing improvements; lots of Dimension additions; Tier 1 cost reduction, Tier 2 gear and models up; Nightmare Seal upgrades; NMR6; NT Onslaught daily/weekly; IA changes; visible Elo Rating; Twisted artifacts in PoW and more!   • Correction: The Dimensional Cat Vendor in Meridian is called Dee Vah. The Sanctum NPC is called Key Whee.
  • Still working on the datamining. Significant amount of files to dig through. Here’s a teaser – 4 new portraits:
    

New Portrait Frames in data files.

• Additional Info on PTS Update. The following are additional information in relation to the recent PTS Update.
  
  • Artifact Change Reverted. Morticus had noted in yesterday’s PTS update that you would be able to salvage artifacts gained in Sanctum/Meridian. This has since been reverted because the spawn rate on these artifacts is extremely short. [r]
  • No Dream Weaver Weekly. This is intentional. [r]
  • IA Achieve Changes. IA Achieve changes should come up on the PTS at some point today or tomorrow. [r] If you haven’t been following info on changes regarding these achieves, you can check them out here.
  • Fishing Lures. Fishing lures with charges have been converted to timers. [r]
  • Crafting Weekly Reward Change. The new crafting weeklies will reward your choice of Fragments of Horror or a bag with a large no. of craft marks, instead of just Fragments of Horror. [r]
  • Quests for New Nightmare Seal Upgrade Component. The quests required to obtain Nightmare Realignment Tool (for the two new upgrade tiers) can only be gained if you’ve completed “A Nightmare is Born” quest and have a seal in your inventory that is eligible for the new upgrades. [r]
  • NT 28-Slot Bag Cost. The Strands requirement for the new NT 28-slot bag will be removed. [r]
  • Smelly Cat. Smelly Cat will be added as a dimension cat in the future. [r]
  • Guard NPCs Additional Features. The Guardian/Defiant Guard dimension NPCs can be interacted with by using emotes on them like /slap and /bow. You can also toggle them in your inventory to become practice dummies. (Thanks to Kiwi for the info!) [r]

• Unicorn Squirrel Mount. The White Squirrelicorn is now available for purchase on the RIFT Store front page for 4,500 Credits (4,050 for Patrons). It is account-wide and matches fastest mount speed. It also has pink vfx on its horn. This will be available on the store until next week. There’s also some lore attached to this mount you can read up on here.
  

• No Plans Crafted Mounts. Trion has no plans to add crafted mounts into the game. [r]

• IA Titles. Current Instant Adventure suffix titles for those who manage to complete either the 500-IA or defeat-all-IA-bosses achieves before 3.2 are as follows: [r]
  • Gloamwood: Gloam
  • Stonefield: Stone
  • Freemarch: Free
  • Silverwood: Silver
  • Scarwood Reach: Scar
  • Shimmersand: Sand
  • Stillmoor: Caer
  • Ember Isle: Ember
  • Seratos: Bone
  • Morban: Shaper
  • Steppes of Infinity: Storm
  • City Core: Citizen
  • DE: Fae (not sure what DE stands for; Dendrome?).
  • Other IA zone titles are still being considered. Pelladane’s might become ‘Sun’. [r]
