RIFT news tidbits for 2nd April 2015.

General

• RIFT: Hammerknell Instant Adventure Article. Trion has posted up a new article announcing HK IAs as well as other changes coming to Instant Adventures in 3.2. Briefly: Objectives/Boss HP scaling adjustments; IA queue becoming random/featured; HK IAs; anti-leeching measures. Check out the article here!

• Crafting: Apothecary Changes. Morticus is looking into adjusting output of NT Apothecary consumables. Trion is currently leaning towards increasing output by 3x, but increasing cost of materials by 2x. [r]

• PTS Update. The PTS was updated again today. 1.75GB download. Still looking through, but old IA achieves have become Legacy, and 410 points of new IA achieves have been added under a new category: Achievements -> Character -> Instant Adventures.
  
  • HK IAs not available until next week. [r]

• Tier 1 Raid Nerfs. DEV_Anony has posted up information that Tier 1 Raids will be nerfed when Patch 3.2 (and thus Tier 2) hits.
  • Boss HP dropped by 15%.
  • Boss outgoing damage dropped by 10%.
  • Some mechanics that were “exceptionally challenging due to tight timing” will be adjusted. No details on which.
  • Trion will attempt to smooth out progression for Tier 1 raids in the future to address the steep learning curve that some T1 raids have.
  • In the future T1 progression will look less like Johan -> PUMPKIN (a wall), and more like Bulf -> Ungolok -> Johan -> Izkinra -> PUMPKIN in terms of the progression of difficulty.
  • Tier 1 fights will be more about mechanics and less about dps/hps checks.

There’s no RIFT livestream this Friday. This week’s livestreams were moved forward to today (Thursday), but were for Trove, ArcheAge and Defiance.
