RIFT news tidbits for 8th April 2015.

General

• RIFT 3.1 Hotfix #11. Latest hotfix has changes to Cleric Inquisitor, Shaman buffs, Warrior Reaver DoTs nerf (for PvP) and a fix to Rogue Marksman Strafe damage. More info here.

• Rare Mobs Immunity. Tacitus will look at gradually making more Rare Mobs immune to invasions and footholds. He went through Gloamwood in 3.1 but has been busy with IA changes for 3.2 since. Next two to look at will be Iron Pine Peak rares. [r]

• Daily/Weekly Onslaught Info. Kerilar has posted some further clarifications about the upcoming Daily/Weekly Onslaught quests. [r]
  • There is only one NT onslaught active at any one time per shard in the Plane of Water zones. Locations are:
    • Goboro Reef – Invertebrate Arches, Anemone Circle, Desiccated Path
    • Draumheim – Illusory Junction, City’s Shadow, Drowned Passage
    • Tarken Glacier – Logical Crossroad, Aegmir’s Pass, Immutable Ridge
  • A zone-wide announcement will occur. After one is complete, a 15min cooldown will occur before another one will at random in one of the 9 areas.

• PvP Greater Essence Issues Explained. Red Hawk has explained on the RIFT Forums that the reason why there were so many issues with hotfixes to fix hotfixes to fix issues with greater essences was due to the “complex legacy code” associated with how Essences work. These issues should be resolved now. [r]

• Item Temp Disabled: Storm Breaker Ignition Key. The Storm Breaker Ignition Key has been temporarily disabled in warfronts because it was allowing players to move at mount-speed level in maps that do not allow mounting. (The SBI Key is an on-use trinket gained from the Conqueror achievement for Level 60 Tier 1 raid Frozen Tempest). [r]

• Rift Wardrobe: Save Your Marks. Save your various currency if you’re interested in boosting your wardrobe collection right off the bat when 3.2 hits. The idea is basically to purchase items -> collected to wardrobe -> refund. Find out more here.

• No Planarite Exchange Planned. Tacitus has re-confirmed that Trion are not planning on bringing back planarite or sourcestone exchange between infinity stones/sourcestones and planarite/void stones. [r]
