RIFT news tidbits for 21st April 2015.
General
- Sale: 2 Day Tuesday Amazon Deals. Amazon has a one (or 2)-day deal with 30-50% off RIFT Packs. There’s some amazing deals, like $75 for RIFT Laethys’ Fortune Pack which includes 90-day patron, Storm + Dream Souls and a lot more. More info here.
- PTS Playtest: Hammerknell IAs. Tacitus is holding a PTS Playtest for HK IAs from 2:30-5:30PM PDT (with a 1hr gap in-between) on Wednesday, 22nd April 2015 (TC). Click here for the feedback thread.
- Upcoming Planned Downtime. Shards will go down for RIFT 3.2: Hotfix #2 at the following times:
- North America: 4/22/15, at 7:00 AM PDT. ~2hr downtime.
- Europe: 4/23/15 at 1:00 AM GMT. ~2hr downtime.
- Upcoming NT Onslaught Changes. Kerilar posted up some changes for NT Onslaughts that should hit Live either with this week or next week’s hotfix. [r]
- Significant decrease in HP on initial enemy guards/turrets.
- Active onslaught time lowered from 15min to 7min. (So onslaughts should finish faster).
- Increased no. of invasions that spawn at once.
- Increase invasion and commander HP.
- The cooldown between active Onslaughts has been lowered from 15min to 10min.
- Map Marker added for active Onslaught location. (Must be in zone to see it).
- Note: The one-commander-per-onslaught feature remains. This is intended. [r]
- The Whiteboard. We’ve got ourselves another whiteboard, this time by CaptainCursor. Of course, CaptainCursor is known for trolling so perhaps nothing on the board is actually planned. Still, it’s been a long time since the last one, so check it out anyway:

- Return to Hammerknell WFs. Congratulations to Apotheosys for getting World First Vladmal Prime, Grugonim, Inquisitor Garua and Inwar Darktide. Only one encounter left: ‘Lord Jornaru and Akylios’, and it hasn’t even been an entire week since the raid was released! More info here.

Akylios is Disabled.
Currently Apotheosys cannot progress on Akylios because DEV_Anony has disabled the encounter as of yesterday night.
The Platforms are broken for at least half the players (players either fall through or they cannot see them) and the Hit reduction debuff can be removed by jumping into the water or killing each other in a duel.
Unfortunatelly, Apotheosys is being forcefully locked again from progressing, killing and claiming a WF on the last boss of a Tier – same thing that happened during the guild’s Threngar progression in Tier-1.
Hopefully Anony will be able to resolve those issues within this week.

Oh wow, that sucks. Hope Anony fixes it up asap. Very quick tier if it’s the only raid for this tier.
