RIFT news tidbits for 23rd April 2015.

General

• PvP Info:
  • The experiment for testing premade limits in CQ is still a work in progress as they resolve some issues with it (probably from the previous PTS test). No timeline.
  • Trion is looking at a resolution for players who keep getting into losing warfronts at the very end of the warfront. [r]
  • Trion also has an engineer looking at the Elo ratings to make sure it is working properly. [r]

• Upgrade Adjustments. Vladd has stated that Trion is looking at the costs for upgrading gear and will make adjustments as needed. This is in response to a thread about the Relic Amenders required to upgrade Tier 2 gear to set bonus. No other details mentioned but it might be a good idea to hold off on upgrading T2 gear for set bonus if you can afford to do so. [r] Side-grading will also be looked at. [r]

• HK Itemization – Round 2. The PTS will be updated (probably) tomorrow with adjustments to Return to Hammerknell gear. Vladd has done another pass on the gear and would like your feedback once they are up on the PTS. Feedback thread here.

• Dimensions Shadows Issue. Some dimensioneers are noticing strange shadow effects occuring in dimensions like ‘invisible ceiling’ shadows and shadows made by ‘edit mode’ objects that are not supposed to show up in the dimension itself. Marigold has stated that Trion is looking into a fix for this. [r]

The Trion Livestream channel has RIFT slated for Friday at 3:30PM PDT. The schedule states “April 17 2015” but that was last week’s schedule. Trion might not have changed the title, but last week the ‘RIFT’ portion of the schedule was removed. Since it is back again, there might be a livestream this week.
