RIFT news tidbits for 30th April 2015.

General

• PTS Update 30th April 2015. PTS has been updated today, mainly for fixes to HK IAs, IA grouping and some cost reductions for the top two tiers of Amenders. Check out full details here.

• Breathing Graphics. Are you noticing any models ‘breathing’ unexpectedly? If so, send a PM to Marigold with any screenshots or additional info. [r]
  • Note: This is not related to the huge Cape bug and Marigold is aware of issues with Architect Hives.
  • Additional Info: What, where and how often does the ‘breathing’ models occur? Is it consistent? What are your computer specs? Screenshot? [r]

• Razorback Roundup Disabled. The latest Promo Week event “Razorback Roundup” has been disabled on EU shards and will be delayed on NA shards due to a technical issue. [r] Once the Promo Week is re-enabled I’ll have a guide up for the dailies. For now, you can check out a preview from the PRI Quartermaster below:

• Hotfix Notes Updated. CM Morgana has updated this week’s hotfix notes with the following:
  • GYEL FORTRESS
    * Fixed collision allowing players to bypass a ton of vicious population mobs!

• Vista 64-bit Crash Resolved. The latest hotfix seems to have fixed Vista 64-bit crash issues. [r]

• Wardrobe Tooltips. If you don’t like the new red ‘collected’ wardrobe appearance tooltips on items, you can disable it from ESC -> Settings -> Interface -> Misc and unticking “Show collected wardrobe status”.

• Instant Adventure Fixes. A fix for instant adventure merge bug and joining IAs in SL zones on a sub-Lvl 50 character went up with this week’s hotfix, although it does not appear in the patch notes. The “You are not participating” bug is still not fixed, but should be with next week’s hotfix. [r]

There’s no official RIFT livestream this Friday. Next week there might be one talking about how to get into the gaming industry. This Friday is Trove (1:30PM PDT), ArcheAge (2:30PM PDT) and Defiance (3:30PM PDT).

• Rift Reforged Episode 34 [Video]. The folks over at Rift Reforged held their 34th Livestream talking all things RIFT including news, crafting, specs, lore and more! A video recording will be uploaded to youtube soon, so keep an eye out for that! [YT][Twitter]
