RIFT news tidbits for 6th May 2015.

General

• RIFT 3.2 Hotfix #4. RIFT was updated with RIFT 3.2 Hotfix #4 today – small update with some bug fixes and IA zone-change frequency increase. [r] File size likely due to on-going load-time improvements.
  • NA shards did crash initially, but they are back up. [r] Instant Adventures have been disabled temporarily. [r]
  • HK IAs were originally part of the hotfix but had to be taken down [r] because “critical HK IA functionality fixes […] got missed for inclusion in the patch” – Tacitus. [r]

• Upcoming NA Downtime. North American shards will be coming down for RIFT 3.2 Hotfix #5 tomorrow, 7th May 2015. Exact time unknown at this stage. [r]

• PTS Update for 5th May 2015. PTS got a small update making side/upgrade costs cheaper for epic T2 store/dropped gear. [r]

• Lure of Planar Distortion. Reltub on the RIFT Forums has provided more info on the tackle box, the ‘super secret lure’ and related lures/poles for Fishing. These fish up items from various sources, including new dimension items, rep, marks, lures and even minions. Check out Reltub’s post here for more info. [r]

• 3.3 Dimension Items Listed. Morticus has listed the dimension items coming with RIFT 3.3. They range from Atragarian and Akvan Totems to Kondraum’s Throne and Words of Power. Check out the full list here.
  • New building blocks won’t make it with 3.3, but Morticus hopes they’ll make it for 3.4. [r]

Mirt’s “Mars Attacks” dimension contest ends June 15th. Unlike the first post, you can enter the “Mars Attacks” dimension contest up until June 15th (April 30th isn’t the deadline). [r]

• Soulrender Zilas vs Rekt [Raid][Video]. Mantissa has uploaded Rekt’s NA First Soulrender Zilas kill. Only two guilds have killed the 6th boss thus far in the game. Check out Mantissa’s video here.
