Razorback Roundup Promo Week

The Razorback Roundup Promo Week introduces the new Razorback mount and adds two new achievements and three dailies to complete.

General

• Razorback Roundup Extended. Razorback Roundup Promo Week has been extended to Sunday, May 17th, although Ocho stated “as usual it will run a few hours longer than that”, so it’ll likely end on Monday at 3:30PM ST. [r]
  • Enraged Boar Spawn. Kerilar added that Enraged Boars spawn wherever Wild Truffle Hunters spawn. [r]

• About Minion Chains. Snedhepl has explained that the Tasuil repeatable minion chain does not have a disable button after first completion because it would take “about a full day’s worth of time, plus testing” to get a button in for it, for something which affects a very small number of people (~100). Currently the UI team is extremely busy on other aspects of the game that affect a lot more players.
  • Snedhepl has also stated he will not tell players what triggers the chain as he considers it a secret and something which he won’t reveal as it would set a precedent for future reveals. [r]

• Minion Info Update. I’ve updated the Minion Card Database with info that you can fish up Styxoris, Jilleen and Pizko from the Lure of Planar Distortion and Uncle Stan’s Super Secret Lure. (Thanks to Reltub for the info!)
  • At this stage I’m thinking that the lures might be able to catch all minion cards, but no confirmation. The minion cards caught with the lures thus far by Reltub have been PvP, notoriety-required ones, mob drops and even Dead Simon, which is rewarded from an artifact set.

• Secret Lure Loot. Reltub on the RIFT Forums has started a new thread listing drops obtained from the Lure of Planar Distortion and Uncle Stan’s Super Secret Lure. Check out his thread here, and if you happen to be using the lures as well, add your drops to the list!
  • Thus far drops have included unique dimension items, wardrobe bundles, existing minion cards, mounts, companion pets, notoriety, craft mats, artifacts and other lures.

• Lure Cooldowns Adjusted. Morticus has announced that Lure of Planar Distortion and Uncle Stan’s Super Secret Lure will be changed to no longer share a cooldown group (so you can now use both!). [r]
  • Also, magnetic lures will pay out 10-12 artifacts on average and have a 2hr CD.
  • ETA unknown.

• HK Chronicle Achievements Coming Back. Krug has announced that the Hammerknell Chronicle achievements will be making a return. However, it was “accidentally flagged as deprecated” and data was wiped so you will need to re-do the achievements once they are back up. ETA: Within the next couple of hotfixes. [r]

In reality it’s a normal warfront pvp video in Ghar Station Eyn, but just remember: Click Things, and Stand In Mid! Check it out here!

• Don’t Spoil the Surprise! [Dimension]. Dimension Diva over at The Dimension Touring Company talks about the element of surprise in dimensions. Is it a good idea to reveal a dimension before it is complete? Will making slight adjustments after the fact draw the same kind of response from your visitors if they’ve already seen the WIP? What do you think? Check out her article here!

• Storm’s Edge Resort [Dimension]. Feendish over at DTC takes a tour of Asfrid@Brutwacht’s “Storm’s Edge Resort”. Check out this fabulous dimension with lots of amazing morphs and even a map of the resort!
