This week on Rift Wardrobe we’ll take a look at the Drowned Prophet’s Outfits – the Nightmare Tide Tier 2 Raid gear models – and how to get the pieces even without stepping into a single raid!

Drowned Prophet’s Outfits
The Drowned Prophet’s outfits are the Nightmare Tide Tier 2 gear models. Check them out below:

Drowned Prophet Sets
Where to Obtain
Normally you can get them from the RIFT Store -> Equipment -> Armor under Level 65 filter using the Tier 2 raid currency “Fragments of Madness”. These can be obtained from various Nightmare Tide Dailies/Weeklies and from downing bosses in the Tier 2 Raid Return to Hammerknell.
However, there’s also another method:
Hammerknell Fortress Instant Adventures
Yep, that’s right! The Hammerknell Fortress Instant Adventures (“HK IAs”) have a chance of dropping level-appropriate gear that actually uses the Tier 2 raid models! Armor and weapons included!
Here’s how it works:
- You get a special Hammerknell Adventure Cache every time you kill a boss in HK IAs.
- Each HK Adventure Cache has a chance of dropping level-appropriate gear.
- The gear uses Tier 2 Return to Hammerknell raid models for both armor and weapons.
- You can be as low as Level 10 to enter, and even the Level 10 gear uses the raid models.
Gear will be appropriate for your class, so if you want the armor/weapon models specific to other classes, you’ll need to run the HK IAs on your alts.
You can access HK IAs via the Instant Adventure window (default key “.“) and clicking on Join next to “Featured: Hammerknell Fortress”.
Weapons
Besides the Drowned Prophet armor sets, the new HK weapon models are also present in HK IAs.

Gear Stats
The stats on the gear are pretty good as well for new players and new Level 65s alike. The Level 65 gear has +125 Hit on appropriate slots and the stats are better than your typical entry-level gear. The Hit will allow you to quickly gear up for Experts and have the required Hit for Tier 1 raids.
Below you can find examples of some Level 65 loot drops:
Not too shabby.
Note: The hotfix on 20th May 2015 will add an upgrade path to the Level 65 HK IA-dropped gear so you might want to hold onto them just in case the upgrades are decent.
If you aren’t progressing through Tier 2, running HK IAs might just be the fastest way to unlocking Drowned Prophet models for your wardrobe collection!
Wardrobe Spotlight
Each week on Rift Wardrobe I’ll be taking my little camera and snapping up the latest outfits from the Rift community.
Laeti@Laethys
This week’s wardrobe spotlight is a double-special from Laeti@Laethys, featuring some character cosplay with Tomb Raider on the left and an Assassin’s Creed-inspired outfit on the right.
Laeti’s got the color combination on both outfits down-pat, even down to the leg-band on her Lara Croft outfit. Trion just needs to add dual-wield pistols into the game and it’d be perfect!
Her Assassin’s Creed outfit has the key white hood, robe and red sash/highlights that feature in every iteration of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The boots are also a nice touch. I’m sure if we could wield hidden daggers, it would be perfect with this outfit!
With the introduction of Hammerknell Instant Adventures, there’s now a whole plethora of new models that you can obtain, even if you aren’t a raider! The stats on the gear are pretty good too and you can complete your NT IA Weekly quest whilst you run though so there’s no reason not to do them!

cool didn’t know that. If I was a raider I would be kinda annoyed, but I’m not!
“drowned prophet”…. sounds like game of thrones xDDDDD
Is there a website where you can post your outfits? Like Tor-Fashion for SWTOR? I’m curious about some of these appearances and where to find them 😛
There was a forum thread on rift forums, for sharing wardrobe sets, with pictures and stuff, but tbh I’m not sure it’s active at the moment (I’m only lurking on dimension forums lol)
There’s a “Post Your Favorite Wardrobe Creations” thread on the forums, but you’ll have to ask the posters if you want to know what they are wearing and how they obtained the outfit. Not sure if there’s something like Tor-Fashion out there.
I just got a warrior CP sword out of HK IA. I hope this isn’t the graphics in HKT2. Its horrid.
Yea, the T2 HK weapon models don’t look all that impressive. The T3 gear (concept art) looks a little more inspired.
I’m really loving these wardrobe posts Khortish! I hope you will keep them coming. 🙂
