Arclight Infiltration Promo Week

The Arclight Infiltration Promo Week is back, this time with a new Necrotic Lifter mount. Event will last from 3:30PM ST on 21st May 2015 to 3:30PM ST on 28th May 2015.

• RIFT Live Datamining for 20th May 2015. Latest hotfix has some new costume skins and…a blue fairy wing-like skin. Further evidence of player wings? Check them out here.

• Notice: Upcoming Changes to Strands of Arak/Draum. Vladd has made changes to Strands. They will be craftable by Apothecaries (Arak) and Dream Weavers (Draum) with a new recipe. All types of Strands will be tradeable. More details here.

• ETA Update: Lure CDs. Morticus has stated that the changes to lure CDs (so Stan’s lure and Lure of Planar Distortion no longer share CDs, and magnetic lures payout 10-12 artifacts on average with 2hr CD) will hit Live with Patch 3.3. [r]

• Energy/Charge Pots. Not included in this week’s hotfix patch notes, the ‘Fight Club’ daily quest now works again in Scarwood Reach to obtain energy/charge pots. All Instant Adventure Caches also drop them now. (Thanks to DarkDaemon@Laethys and Chickie for the info!)

• Amender Cost Reduction. The cost reductions to Amenders with this week’s hotfix was for the highest two tiers of amenders and does not include the normal Amenders and Advanced Amenders. Morticus has stated that the overall cost reduction was 43% [r] based on AH and store prices. [r]

• HK Chronicle Achievement Points. HK Chronicle Achievements were re-enabled with this week’s hotfix, but they don’t give you any points. This will be corrected next week. [r] Retroactive. [r]

• On Player Harrassment. CM Ocho has announced that Trion is reviewing customer service procedures and policies and has plans ready on the back-end to help enforce standards and suspend/ban players “who can’t conduct themselves in a reasonable manner”. [r]

• Minion Database Updated. The Minion Card Database has been updated with the following:
  • New Minion Card: Skitters. 7 Death 18 Harvest with Max 20 Stamina. This is fished up using Uncle Stan’s Super Secret Lure. (Thanks to Turntablist@Greybriar and Bromancerr@Deepwood for the info!)

PTS Update: The PTS has a new 3.55GB update containing 340 PAK files (with god knows how many tens of thousands of files contained within). I’ll have a PTS Update (hopefully) tomorrow and datamining will probably come in several parts over the next few days.

Note: PTS is currently crashing at ~40-43% load screen.
