RIFT news tidbits for 30th May 2015. It’s not often that I put out a dedicated News Tidbits over the weekend for a single day, but there’s been a few updates that bear mentioning.
PTS Update Information
I’ve updated the 27-29th PTS Update with a few new additions thanks to information provided by a variety of players.
Fae Finery Outfit
Fae Finery Outfits on PTS
You can preview the upcoming Fae Finery outfit on the PTS by going to Character -> Wardrobe -> [Slot] and then searching for “Fae Finery” in the search window. Be sure to tick “Show Uncollected”.
Unfortunately you cannot wear the female version of the outfit on a male character and vice versa; sorry all you Bahmi maid outfit-wearers who were hoping to become an elegant fairy. (although…it might work if you used the polka dot outfit trick?)

Viewing wardrobe sets with missing icons also brings up ‘Boss of the Planes Hat’.
Costume Capes
There’s a new sub-category under ‘Capes’ in the Wardrobe System called ‘Costume Capes’. These contain wings and backpacks.
Again, you can view these on the PTS via Character -> Wardrobe -> Cape slot -> tick ‘Show Uncollected’ and view the Costume Cape category.
Given the theme, all of these items are likely slated for the Summerfest World Event this year. ETA is currently unknown on the event, but it will probably appear some time in June/July like previous years.

General
- Reminder: Bonus Weekend. Reminder that there’s a bonus weekend on-going with an additional 50% xp from kills, 50% PA XP, 50% planarite, 25% favor and 25% prestige from PvP kills. These bonuses last through May 31st 2015. [r]
- PM Stacking Fix. Recently the NA shards had a Conquest match with 2 PM vs 1 PM vs 1 Pug faction. This is not supposed to happen (it should be 1 PM vs 1 PM vs 1 PM in this situation). DEV_SupermanSocks has created a fix for this issue, but no ETA on when it will hit the Live shards. [r]

Wow, seems like first real shoes for female! Instead of current “sandals” which look like boots or shoes from some premium sets where you can’t get rid of socks…
It does look nice! I just wish the back of the headgear wasn’t so…plain. Would have loved it to be some kind of ‘fake’ hair that can be dyed (like the dyeable ‘fake’ hair from the Abyssal Crusader’s Helm).

Backpacks!!!!!!! Yay!!!! Just a lil bigger and they are perfect
I was expecting the backpacks to be similar to the Veteran Rewards NPCs. It would be nice if Trion could add a Small, Medium and Large version of each to fit everyone’s preference.
