Summerfest World Event

The Summerfest World Event is on-going. There’s a ton to do including scavenger hunts, dailies, fishing, a new minion chain and all new Wings and Backpack costumes! Below you can find everything you need to know about Summerfest 2015:

General

• Planned Region Downtime. RIFT will be going down tomorrow for RIFT 3.2 Hotfix #12. Note that you will be asked to download additional files – they are ~100MB in size.
  • North America: 6/17/15, at 7:30 AM PDT.
  • Europe: 6/18/15 at 1:00 AM GMT.

• Guffins and Tarken IAs. Looks like there’s some evil Guffins as part of Tarken IAs. Captain Cursor posts up an image of a Bloodthirsty Guffin as he records the Guffin’s lines. [r] It also seems like this ‘Bloodthirsty Guffin’ will be narrating all of Tarken Glacier IAs. [r]

• PTS Update. Nothing much except that Mathosia and Storm Legion zones are now accessible again. NPCs still missing, so a great time for screenshots!

• Mage Harbinger Changes Status. Red Hawk is still awaiting some tech and a code bug fix before Harbinger Changes hit Live. He might also look into a standardized 1sec GCD and make Tempest Winds work better.
  • Red Hawk is looking for parses between PTS vs Live Harbinger. [r]

• About Summerfest Capture Them All Quest. Some players are noticing they are getting Summerfest Friendship Bracelets whilst others aren’t – this seems to be based on whether you did the quest last year. Tacitus has responded that they weren’t supposed to give any bracelets at all.
  • Next week there will be “an extra bonus reward quest”. No details. [r]

• More Sky Projectors. A few additional sky projectors are planned for dimensions in 3.3. No promises, but Morticus has stated they are working on adding Draumheim, Sunny and Nighttime skies. Got any other suggestions? Post them here!
