Unexpected NA/EU Shard Downtime

The NA and EU shards have experienced an unexpected shard downtime starting at 9:45PM PDT. Trion are working on getting them back up.

No info on what caused it. I’ll keep you updated!

The team is working to resolve an issue that happened at 9:45 PM PDT (GMT-7) and is preventing players from accessing RIFT.

[10:38pm PDT] – It seems this outage has affected all Trion games. Trove, Defiance and ArcheAge forums have also posted server outage announcements.

[11:13pm PDT] – CM Morgana has posted an update stating that progress is being made on the outage:

While the outage is still ongoing, progress is being made. The EU shards are currently being validated, and the NA shards are in the process of starting up.
