RIFT news tidbits for 1st July 2015.

• Summerfest World Event. The Summerfest World Event is on-going. There’s scavenger hunts, dailies, fishing and more! Check out the sidebar for links to various Summerfest-related guides! Ends 2nd July 3:30PM Server Time.

• Temporal Flux Promo Week. Temporal Flux Promo Week is on-going. Get your Black Empyreal Walker Mount. Ends 2nd July 3:30PM Server Time.

General

• RIFT 3.2 Hotfix #15. Shards have been updated to the latest hotfix with some Margle Palace performance improvements and bug fixes. Although not mentioned in the notes, Conquest Premade queue sizes should be reduced to 5 “shortly”. [r] Notes here.
  • You might notice “Rhaza’de Canyons (65)” in the Looking for Group window on Live. This accidentally slipped in, but you cannot access it. (meant for Planetouched Wilds zone release). [r]

• PTS Playtest: Crafting Rifts. Trion is holding a PTS Playtest for upcoming planar crafting rifts this Thursday 2nd July 2015 at 3PM PDT. Be there and help provide feedback/bug reports! [r]

• Reminder: Events Ending! Summerfest Promo Week and Temporal Flux Promo Week are ending at 3:30PM PDT on Thursday, 2nd July! Be sure to complete any remaining quests and pick stuff up prior to that time!

• Trion @ GamesCom. CM Brasse has posted up info in regards to Trion’s Party that will be held at GamesCom (Cologne, Germany) here. Details below  subjective to change.
  • Venue: Bauwerk.
  • Time: 6-10pm on Thursday, August 6th.
  • Free drinks; Devs to chat; Codes.

• About Conquest Tests. The Conquest Premade 5-man Queue restriction will be “enabled shortly” on Live. This is a test and all feedback should go here.
  • Next week Trion will make it so that your 5-man premade group won’t automatically become public once you enter Conquest. [r]
  • Displaying premades in Warfronts (so you know who is in a premade) “should be going live with 3.3”. [r]

• More Info on Frenetic Gear. Stihl on the RIFT Forums has posted up a complete list of the stats on all Frenetic Gear on the PTS. Frenetic Gear is the upgrade to (Empowered) Dreambreaker (PvP) Gear. Check out his table here!

• More Info on Hard Modes. Dupl and Sedvick have provided info on what drops in the Hard Modes coming in 3.3:
  • Rhen of Fate Hard Mode bosses drop a Heart of the Frozen each, on top of their usual loot.
  • Gilded Prophecy Hard Mode bosses drop Relic accessories, on top of their usual loot.

• PTS Update. PTS was updated today with a large 1.9GB patch. Includes Nightmare Saga quests, Planetouched Wilds quests, chronicle randoms, Tarken Glacier IAs and a ton of other stuff. Check out full info/screens here!
  • Note: You won’t be able to enter PTW just yet. Also, the instance at the end of the starter quests for PTW won’t be available until at least the next pts update. [r]
