RIFT news tidbits for 16th July 2015.

Known Issues

These are known issues that have popped up with the 3.3 patch. You can check out a list (might not be complete) from CM Morgana here. Please post any bugs you find in that thread too.

• Compensation. Trion is providing 50% bonus xp, pa xp, prestige and favor until the end of the week. These stack with patron bonuses. [r]
  • Vladd has done a large write-up of how the stacking works that you can check out here. Good for information about bonus stacking in general as well.

• Missing Dimensions/Items. If you are seeing your dimension as empty or can’t place anything, it’s due to a loading issue. [r] Your dimensions are a-okay, but a fix requires some down-time (likely another hotfix). [r]

• Levitate Mount Idle Issue. Levitate Mount currently looks weird when idle. Trion is aware of the issue and working on a fix. [r]

• Random Chronicle Rewards. Random Chronicles are rewarding old rewards for under-65 chronicles. This has been fixed internally, but ETA unknown on when it’ll hit Live. [r]

• Sky Projector Info.
  • Sound. Morticus will take a look at this – the sounds from sky projectors should be removed. [r]
  • Sunny Day Sky Projector. Morticus will look at making a version of the Sunny Day Sky Projector so it is day-only and doesn’t have a day/night cycle. [r]
  • Night Sky Projector. The Night Sky Projector should not have day/night cycles. Fix coming in. [r]

General

• NA Shard Outage. Unexpected NA shard outage hit at approx 6pm PDT today. [r] If you are missing minions or see players in @Uknown shard, you’ll need to relog. [r] There was also an approx. 60mb patch that you might want to download by exiting the client and updating from Glyph.

• Planned Region Downtime. EU and NA will be going down for RIFT 3.3: Hotfix #2. ~1hr downtime. Unknown exact ETA as at the time of this post. [r]
  • North America coming down in the morning of 17th July 2015.
  • Europe coming down in the morning of 18th July 2015.

• World Standings: Intrepid Gilded Prophecy. Congratulations to all the guilds that have downed bosses in the new Tier 2 10-man Intrepid: Gilded Prophecy. You can check all standings at RIFT Progress here.

• Hard Mode Rhen of Fate Cleared. Oria Xu has posted up Apotheosys’ kill videos for Hard Mode Rhen of Fate:

• Planetouched Wilds. Marigold has confirmed that one of the reasons why the latest Patch was so large is because it has loaded up the new Planetouched Wilds zone in Mathosia, to the right of Droughtlands. Note that you cannot enter the place yet. [r]

• Chloromancer PvP Fix. The fix for Mage Chloromancer’s and synergy crystal proc stacking has not yet hit Live. Red Hawk has stated it is still in the works. [r]

• About Rare Mobs. Tacitus has done a pass of most of the old world rares so they will no longer get attacked by enemy mobs. These went live with 3.3. [r]

• Planar Crafting Weekly. Morticus has confirmed that Apothecary, Runecrafter, Dream Weaver and Survivalist will be getting “their power increase with 3.4”. Trion will also give them planar crafting weeklies (assuming with 3.4; Note: Dream Weaver already has planar crafting weekly). [r]
