General
- RIFT 3.3 Hotfix #6. Latest hotfix adds a bunch of bug fixes and introduces the ability to use craft mats from within your Shard Vault. Full notes here.
- PTS Datamining for 30th July 2015. Latest data files from PTS update reveals a Great Hound mount that will be part of a Grey2k USA Worldwide charity event; lots of Planetouched Wilds assets including Bahmi and creature skins, architecture skins and updates to Shal Korva. - Crafting Lag. With the latest hotfix, you’ll notice that crafting in general has been lagging. Trion is currently investigating the issue. [r]
- Nightmare Saga Bug. The fix for “March of the Guffins” in the Act I of the Nightmare Saga that was added in today’s hotfix has ended up making the quest unable to be completed by some players. Icarus is looking into the issue. [r]
- Mount: King Fisher. Slipmat has found that you can fish up the mount “King Fisher, bane of the deep” using Uncle Stan’s Super Secret Lure. This mount looks like the Ash Strider mount and matches your fastest mount speed (or 60%). It is Amphibious and Binds to Account (so can be traded prior to consumption). Check it out here!
- About Orphiel Farwind Dimension Item. The Orphiel Farwind dimension item that you get from completing Act II of the Nightmare Saga will send you to Port Scion as one of the many things he is capable of doing. Inside are artifacts. Ailene has found that if you collect all the sets, you will received a Nightmare Saga Sky Projector and a Guffin dimension item that moves around. Check them out here!

Rhinenahyrcaros Steppes has a zone event called “Coterminous with air” with the description of “Jump Around! Jump up! Jump up and get down!”
you can get the event on your quest bar at 8000, 5213
Nice! Thanks for the info Mycopanther! Will have to check that out. From the no-timer thing, perhaps it acts like the Atragarian Gift and allows you to leap to the floating islands?
It gives a buff called Shalistri’s Gift which makes you jump like crazy high. Oh and the zone event has no timer/lasts forever.
